Stay humble.
these informal, long form, conversational videos are the best. hope you keep doing them. thanks alex
Thanks for taking the time to make this Alex. Very enjoyable! Loved the laid back nature of the dialogue.
Love me some snaps & chats! Felt like hanging out with you two. I learned two things: 1. Miss Japan but at least I can see peoples faces here in Germany... 2. I need to dress better lol. And I kind of want to rock a hat now.
Oh and one small criticism: Music was a little loud sometimes :) I think you don't need it for the conversations.
@@SamuelStreetlife hey man! When we meet, let’s rock the hat on the street together. 😂😂
Ok. I have learned two things from these videos.
1. Where a hat.
2. Drink coffee.
Hahaha.
@@luuvuh let’s do that haha💪🏻
@@sonholee5769 😂😂 very good lessons
Man, loved this ep!
Damn, I shouldn’t have shown up like a ninja last time we hung out 😂 nice one guys!
That’s possibly why people were staring you down last trip 😅😅
thats the meaning of street photography, taking pictures and enjoying your time in the street.
Nice and interesting video. 👌👌
Great video! I loved watching it. Very nice style & flow.
Nakano is where I met Lu the first time which makes sense since we both shoot there all the time. Previously we knew each other from Instagram only but then happened to meet in real life by chance. Good to see you guys both meeting up for a vid in my neighbourhood!
😅 that was so serendipitous! Maybe will see you around there again
@@luuvuh Most likely, yes...:)
Nice and chill street photography episode from Nakano Alex!
This is a very nice video, I think you should make more like this one :)
Great video. Enjoyed that.
really looking forward for the next episodes on this series
Entertaining Snapping & Chatting
Good talk, great shots. Would've liked to see more of your shots too thought 👍
Coming around in the review. 👍

#FilmLyfe - Great video, my friends! I really dig hearing what drives Luuvu and I hope other folks take an interest in his work (which is f'n spectacular).
😂 thanks a lot bro
I Really enjoyed the style of this video! Photos, chats and food, literally can’t go wrong!
Winning combo
That gold contax is gorgeous.
Wow, it's like you were talking right to me there. I romanticize the past. Every photo I make has the potential to make me swoon some day in the future. It's a nice bonus if my romanticism touches others along the way.
Yea. I think as photographers, we hold special attachments to certain photos we take. And it brings specific memories we associate them with. ❤
man I have to get over
Film for life Luuvu. LOLOLOL
I enjoyed watching this, did they give you a replacement soup cause the fly?
nice video
im Vietnamese so yeah i understand what he just said
😅
I feel like the only people that should do film as their main medium are either rich people, people who's photography work is directly related to film and they can make it work financially (cuz they make money out of it), or people that absolutely love film and hate digital.... other than that, you are probably making a very bad financial decision by going with film as your main medium ... but shooting film once in a while, sure, why not :)
Also depends on multiple factors how someone affords film. Most people don't know the affordable routes. For example, a single roll of black and white film including dev and scan all at home costs me less than $5 a roll. Shooting a roll or 2 a session comes out to $10 a day for me. Easily affordable at this rate. Now you do Portra 800 and send to a lab to dev/scan and total you're looking at over $35 a roll. So just don't be that guy.
@@AlexOnStreets Yeah I'm thinking of entering film photography by doing mostly black and white, probably developed at home as well, and leaving color for digital (for now) :)
@@rugososphotos3646 That's basically how I started. I also develop color at home now too. So at an average of $8-10 for a color roll, dev/scan at home, it costs me about $10-12 a roll for color. Plus time.. so it's a sacrifice all around but if you love to do it then sometimes thats all that matters.
Even being that guy who pays $35 a roll all in…. Assuming you shoot 1 roll a week on average.. that comes down to $1800 usd a year. I can easily see somebody spending $1800 a year on just regularly upgrading and buying selling digital cameras and lenses.
@@AlexOnStreets People be standing with $10000 digital Leica kits saying film is to expensive 😂
If you take all your expenses from digital and put it on film I think you will end up with about same amount of good photos per dollar. It’s just a different medium and different ways to work.
The contax looks like a Leica summilux ! Same results ?
*Minilux ;) Probably but I have no idea;)
