- Watch me darkroom print a film photo (from New York) for the first time with my friends Yusuke aka @fareastdarkroom and Katsumi. I was honestly so nervous doing this but the result speaks for itself when you see it in person.

Wow it’s a great video Alex🎉I’m so happy that you enjoyed your first time darkroom printing!!!
Next time let’s do color darkroom printing 📸🥰
Would love to see a color darkroom printing video 👀
Dam Alex, the quality and type of videos since your return from America is insane. Huge level up.
Thanks Martin I've been trying.
This is art. I can watch this all day.
Nice - congrats on your first print! 🥳
you made me realise how much i miss the school's black room!
me too! But that was in the 90s! ha!
Nice! Glad you got to finally experience this aspect of film photography, it's one of the best! Looking forward to more work from your trip.
Thanks a lot. Ya im excited too. After the holidays ill be trying to print as much as possible.
So great to experience this moment together with you. I remember when I made my first print some years ago - it was pure magic! Really hard to resist a little home-darkroom setup, isn't it?😬
I've just started to learn darkroom printing as well. So much fun! Love your video, as usual 😃
Great video Alex and killer first print! I'd love to be able to follow a similar workflow with film. Great content as always!
As Ansel Adams said, expose to get good highlights, then adjust contrast for the shadows.
the smile at 21:10 !
I wrote you on IG that I missed my college dark room.
Man, this video makes me super nostalgic.
A 2 credit college course for bnw photography. Had to buy my own film and probably paper. Had to take time out of my schedule to go into the dark room, but man it was fun and inexpensive. And the room was HUUUUGE! Multiple enlargers and developing trays all set up for us.
I only took one quarter of it though. I was a serious student. I don't regret that though.
Wow what a dream for me to be in that kinda space. With all my negatives I would abuse the system so much haha!
@@AlexOnStreets yeah, looking back... it was a dream. There was a color course too. I did take a pottery class after that which was also fun. :D
lookin good fam.
Vamos al lío Alex!
