This is one of my favorite tagalog song of Morissette. The composer asked Morissette to sing this song in a contest. Like the song “akin ka na lang” it did not win in any category of the contest. To date akin ka na lang wish bus performance had 161M views and this song had 10M views. 😅😂🤣
That’s crazy that no awards were one for these songs, they need hearing aids 😅❤, she really did her thing on this song hands down 🙌 👏💗

It was a song writing competition and "akin ka na lang" was her entry or the songwriter's entry i think it was Jonathan Manalo who wrote it and interpreted by Morissette even it didn't win it's one of the most viewed performances in the Philippines. Probably the song of the year during that competition was won by KZ Tandingan and i think if I'm not mistaken the song was "Mahal ko o Mahal ako" it means someone or the one that i love OR someone that loves me. It's like you have to choose who you wanna be with for the rest of your life someone you really love or someone that really loves you unconditionally? Which one would you choose if you're in that situation or scenario? I think I would choose someone who loves me unconditionally rather than someone that i really love so much because it's painful if someone that you really love breaks your heart and leaves you for someone else..but still it's really hard to decide because if you choose someone that you really love you would really feel what you're really looking for in that person. You'd feel the heaven and earth everyday it's like a never ending excitement everyday when you're with that person. You should check that out it's really a beautiful song performed or interpreted by KZ Tandingan "Mahal ko o Mahal Ako."

This was on the same day as NEVER ENOUGH and then they Changed the sponsor Poster behind Mori and then she sang PANAGINIP, now for this song, Show your friend the official Video the Story that you see fits perfectly to the song, and she was a couple of years younger, it's a great little Video, So I was saying she sang three songs that day giving Interviews between each song what is normal, I have read a comment from a Philippinen, and Mori is his favorit because when Mori sings a cover it's Mori singing and not a copy, she does thing's to a cover that makes it her's, Katrina Velarda used to copy the original singer even in tone with the typical Philippinen belts, for me Katrina is the Nr 2 after Mori in the Philippinens then Jona, a lot of people will be angry when I go against Regine the Queen of belts, but all well and good it's how you get there, the duet with Mori to Gusto ko nang bumitaw was good until the belts, don't get me wrong Regine hits the note but the way she gets there is not as smooth as Mori, it's hard to find the right word, it's the transition into the belts thats sometimes harsh, trying too hard to please her fans, otherwise a great voice, even the original singer to Gusto ko nang bumitaw sang duet with Mori and again trying too hard, you hear the difference it's like day and night, sorry for the original but now the song belongs to Mori, the live Band ONE TAKE Version of Gusto ko nang bumitaw in Studio 28 is out of this World and the belts are stright from heaven sorry Regine, the bus Version is great but the live Band is for me more emotional, compair the two and chose your favorit, sorry rappeling on, keep up the good work and wishing you a speedy recovery.
I have to agree with your summation. For me the difference between Mori and the rest of the singers is her tone. It’s so rich and warm to listen to especially when she hits those higher registers. Just so good.

Ariana just doesn’t have the power. She’s a good singer but I don’t think she can keep up with power belters. She can whistle and blow but her belt isn’t powerful. Demi however do have power but it is strained.
