Want to make this so much for a lady with MS in a nursing home who idolized STEVIE NICKS back in the day!! Who reminds us of the DRAGON LADY , THIS ONE HAS THE BEAUTIFUL GOLD DUSTY LOOK ALSO BUT ILL PROBABLY USE SOME GOLD BEFORE THE RED AND THE YELLOW , for the GOLD DUST WOMAN !! I’m also a lover of Dragonflies WHICH RESEMBLES CHANGE , plus Black WOFOWS , but ironically a true believer of the SAVIOR! So they don’t scare me!! Lol
IM THINKING OF MAKING THE DRAGON COLOR PINK! Just because I’m making her a prayer shawl with colors of her children’s and her birthstone colors in the dragonfly stitch! Might add black widow spider eyes what’ll you think?

Hi there. Awesome work! I just discovered this channel and is wondering do you perhaps have a smaller version available? A smaller version won't take that long and would look cute as a baby of him for someone who already did the pattern.
Not yet. I do have some smaller dragon patterns but not similar to this.
@marieoverton5671 oh ok. Will you make more dragon patterns? Like more variety since a lot of patterns are very similar but this one is so unique!

He is fabulous Marie! I soo want to make this but I don't know if daughter has room for another along with Kiefer. Mind you, I didn't know about US/UK sizing/stitches before, so my Keifer is quite a bit larger than he should be. Torch could be his younger brother. You are so clever.
Space has always been my issue as well. We decided that his lair was under the bed. (It keeps any of those unwanted monsters out of there anyway.)

@@marieoverton5671 have you thought of crocheting a huge fishing type looking met for a cloud Lair maybe? Just trying help ? Corner it up to the ceiling sides and kiddie cornered?? Maybe a drop ladder on one side ?

how long did he roughly take you to fully complete? im getting the stuff and then im going to be attempting this crochet pattern but id like to know a rough estimate on how long he takes
For one of these big guys, it usually takes me about 4 months, but that is with revisions and pattern writting.

Can I use a thicker yarn or does it have to be double strand?
Double strand is nice because it increases the durability. I have young children riding my dragon so it needs it to increase its lifespan. Plus there are some parts that are single strand and they would be a little difficult to figure out if you did single on everything else.
