- It's lockdown again but I'm lucky to have some great Hampshire walks from my doorstep and this is one of them. Explore the eastern rim of the Hampshire Basin as you walk a loop taking in views from Fair Oak, Durley and the very best stretch of The Forest of Bere, barely changed since King John created his hunting forest in 1205. Whether you're a local resident in lockdown or a visitor from other parts when we are allowed to travel, this walk will amaze and delight you. Don't miss the blooper reel at the end.
Starts and finishes at The Old George, Fair Oak.

Interesting walk Rob. You do love your mud!
A misspent childhood Dave. A lot of it ironically spent with Trev , my oldest mate 🙂
Very interesting Rob, love the history lesson. Looking forward to doing this walk in the spring, when less muddy||||
Thanks Chris yes it was a tad muddy 🙂
I guess Im kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to watch newly released series online?
@Valentino Kayden I watch on flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Eli Gatlin Definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone for years myself :D
@Eli Gatlin Yea, been watching on FlixZone for months myself :)
Yeah we didn't fancy the bull field on that walk. We nearly got stuck on that track leading up to the fox and hounds as well!
It was good for a laugh though 😁
