For the vinegar wash, put a couple tablespoons of Baking Soda in too. The fizz acts as a surfactant killing any nasties and breaking down the waxes/additives added by the stores.
Another great hack for blueberries. Store in single layers separated by paper towels. In an air tight container mine lasted a month! Thanks for your ideas.
Loved the “home hacks” with the mason jar inside the wide vase, and the cup holder with storage you showed at the end. That little trash can was also genius.
❤ the tiny trash can! Can't wait to get to Dollar 🌴 to get me 1!!!! I use a wheelchair & I made my own cupholders / PVC products. I also use the cell phone cup holder that used in the car for my wheelchair, it works great!!!!
For the candle sticks I usually just melt the bottom with the lighter so it drips a bit over the holder hole & then squish the candle in their. Stays pretty stuck.
True. I’ve also melted the bottom of the candle. I’m going to try the rubber band hack. It will be cleaner and easier. Just in case I make a mess or drip candle wax on something else. (not that ever happens 😅😊😂)
Can't wait to try the string organization!! For my blueberries and other fruit I get the dollar tree spray bottle mix 1/2 vinegar 1/2 spring water and make my own fruits and veggie spray. I let them sit then rinse. For blueberries I get many days by letting the blueberries dry sometimes wiping them and the layering then in a single layer on top of a piece of paper towel. I respect the paper towel layers as needed so each blueberry has space they last a long long time! I also sparu my apples and bananas and oranges with my spray it seems to help keep fruit flies away!
Great home hack! I have one for you.... When using your plastic cutting board, put a damped dish clothe underneath the board, but on top of the counter top. This way the board won't slide around and it's more safe for you when using sharp knifes 😉
Dollar tree has lids that fit mason jars , they look like mesh and would work well for the string hack and I liked the paper towel holder for the door👍
I really like the jar and string hack. We all have onion hacks! I just breathe through my mouth-- no tears! My cousin said his mother said to put a piece of bread in your mouth while cutting! None of us ever have to cry again!! Home Hack! Great video!
Some times flowers are heavy and cause a vase to tip. If I am using a light weight silver pitcher or something else opaque, I put a can of soup in the middle. It adds weight and helps the flowers stand up and not tip over .☺
That little cupholder trash can might work for storing small items. I usually keep a lipstick in the car and a small padlock for when I go to the gym. I think they'd fit into the trash cup nicely. 😊
I bought the plastic screw together holder for my silverware holder for my lunchbox as I also have a steak knife in there as well. Also if you buy the mason jar rings and put them on a cookie sheet and use cupcake liners in them you can bake a lot more cupcakes at 1 time and no need for cupcake pans.
The jar in the vase is cool, but I love the rubber band hack. Such a great idea I had never heard of and most all those candles need help standing up ❤️
Great minds thinks alike! I’ve used the glass in the bowl hack for over 20 years! I use a margarita glass because it’s wider. Easier to dip. I have also have a charging station I bought a chest of drawers and drilled into the back of it. It’s a little trickier to have multiple drawers with charging but it’s great once it’s figured out. 😊
The onion is actually working because of the way you have it positioned. At least that’s what I was told to always cut it facing down after you have cut it in half. You can even make strips with the knife and it cuts small pieces and still won’t burn your eyes. Love your videos and just wanted to share. May not work for everyone but it does for me. Blessings! ❤️
Teacher hack for your dice hack…if you want the dice to be quiet, glue some felt to the lid! And store your washed berries in a mason jar, they last a long time!
I love the mason jar inside the flower vase!!and also the first one that you did with the three rings on the bottom of the bowl and using it to cover your baked goods it even looks like it may cover a cake! Those are the two that I will definitely be trying this week lol. PS love that hammer😂😂😂 HOME HACKS!!!
I'll be trying the cookie cover, mason jar in the case & candle stick hack. Also I love reading the subbies suggestions, they have great hacks too. Thanks
To store the cord in a jar to dispense just use the $ Tree top that already have the holes. They hang by the glasses. Also I bought a paper towel holder from Temu with an adhesive. Love it. Have it in all my bathrooms..
Thanks for all your great ideas but especially the onion one!!! My hubby and I eat alot of onions!! Thanks for saving my new eyes. I just had eye surgery and my eyes are now very sensitive. I can still love my onions again!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 Thanks love you 😍
Home hack. Love the mason jar in the vase hack. I have a hack using Dollar Tree plastic drawers (the clear small ones) and I glue the part that takes the drawer onto the inside of my kitchen cabinet with the opening up.. I put in packets like taco seasoning and Lipton soup mix. It frees up space on the shelves. Source: Do it on a Dime.
Lots of great home hacks. I have known about the no-tears onion hack for years. I think I'm going to be trying the cookie cover and the chip and dip hack at my next get-together.
Home hacks-YEAH. Loved the blueberry and mason jar (and thinking we could use a mayo or peanut butter plastic container too). Would like to know how to keep strawberries and salad fresher longer thanks !
I loved all of them! Thank you for sharing. I did know about banana and apple that they better not be put together, and this water and onion hack actually works.. every time I’m about to start tearing I look at the running water and rinse my knife with water too and repeat as needed until the job is done. 👍🏻 works every time 👌

What I learned at a restaurant is to put lemon juice on the cutting board before you cut your lemons and that’s supposed to help with the tearing burning eyes as well. I hope this help. Try it out let me know what you think. I watch all your videos and really enjoy them. Thank you!
Hi Liz I saw your cutting board was moving around when you were cutting the onions; use this hack put a wet paper towel folded under your cutting board and will not move anymore 😊
I saw a video of chopping onions with the apple cutter...It may not chop small or square but it chops quick and boom in the pot! I didn hear about the onions getting washed with cold water and yes no tears...Loved the cookie cover hack
another awesome home hack is to store all washed fruits and vegetables with a paper towel under and on top, to help absorb moisture and it'll last even longer :)
Thanks for more great tips. I have used the onion hack for many years. The berry tip does not work especially with strawberries. Fruits emit gases so store separately. Cannot store apples and potatoes together.

Love two dots! Harder than it looks!

For the vinegar wash, put a couple tablespoons of Baking Soda in too. The fizz acts as a surfactant killing any nasties and breaking down the waxes/additives added by the stores.
Do the berries need to be dried before storing?
I love the glass for dip idea but a martini glass is more open and may work better.
I thought the same thing! :)
Another great hack for blueberries. Store in single layers separated by paper towels. In an air tight container mine lasted a month! Thanks for your ideas.
A vented double container keeps berries fresh for 2 weeks. Dollar Tree had some so I bout 4 containers.
Love the mason jar in the vase hack! What a great idea:)
Thank you! 😊
Me too! Genius
Loved the “home hacks” with the mason jar inside the wide vase, and the cup holder with storage you showed at the end. That little trash can was also genius.

But then you candlestick is ruined with wax which is not easy to clean as we all know, so I think this rubber band idea is genius😁
@@alenazima7474 poster tack, would work great
True. I’ve also melted the bottom of the candle. I’m going to try the rubber band hack. It will be cleaner and easier. Just in case I make a mess or drip candle wax on something else.

Thanks Liz for the wonderful "HOME HACKS".
That little cupholder trash can might work for storing small items. I usually keep a lipstick in the car and a small padlock for when I go to the gym. I think they'd fit into the trash cup nicely. 😊
That's a great idea!
I bought that cute little trash can when I got my new SUV in August 2022. I love it!
I bought mine for my 14+ year old Camry last year. 🤣😂
My Mother taught me, to put a wooden matchstick, striker end out, into your mouth. No tears! Works every time. Happy Easter!! 🙏🌼 HUGS
I heard that as well
I remember that trick it seems like someone said that it had something to do with the sulfur in them and yes it does work .
Home Hack! Love the mason jar with the strings..... genius!
Great home hacks! I keep forgetting about the dish towel rack and how useful it is for hanging towel rolls of any sorts.
Cool ideas. May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
The jar in the vase is cool, but I love the rubber band hack. Such a great idea I had never heard of and most all those candles need help standing up ❤️
I definitely discovered that fast food hack quickly, the spills from the little one's... absolutely a must for toddlers!
The “home hack” with the ribbon in the jar is genius!
It’s perfect for crafting!
Moose is the best little doggie! Liz, Home Hack is two words 🤣I will definitely try the onion cutting hack.
I like the idea of the mini trash cans, one for my craft table & one to set by me when I take apart old clothes & I can put the threads in there!!
You can also take a wet paper towel( fairly wet and wrung out) and lay it in front of the onion nearest to you to help absorb any eye irritation.😊
Great minds thinks alike! I’ve used the glass in the bowl hack for over 20 years! I use a margarita glass because it’s wider. Easier to dip. Genius hack with the bowl and wooded shower rings, fir bake goods!
Home Hack....I really like the first one, cover bowl with cook out season coming, to keep flies off food. Thank you, just love all your videos
I will definitely be using the jar inside a vase idea. Thank you!
Teacher hack for your dice hack…if you want the dice to be quiet, glue some felt to the lid! And store your washed berries in a mason jar, they last a long time!
No tears when you keep the onion in the refrigerator before cutting; thanks for the useful hacks.
The jar string idea is genius
A chef I worked with one time told me that the bulb inside the onion (the center) is what makes you cry so if you remove it then no tears. It works!
Home hack favorites were paint brush holders and jar inside vase to hold stems/floral.
I love the mason jar inside the flower vase!!and also the first one that you did with the three rings on the bottom of the bowl and using it to cover your baked goods it even looks like it may cover a cake! Those are the two that I will definitely be trying this week lol.
PS love that hammer😂😂😂

I knew the papertowel hack I do it that way but its on my top cabinet and hangs like it's under my top cabinet. Such a space saver
I’m going to try the car cup and phone holder! I store my fruit in mason jars in the fridge after rinsing them it lasts so much longer
I always have fun watching your videos. I will be trying many of these HOME HACKS. 😊. Thanks Liz
Thanks for all your great ideas but especially the onion one!!! My hubby and I eat alot of onions!! Thanks for saving my new eyes. I just had eye surgery and my eyes are now very sensitive. I can still love my onions again!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks love you 😍
Home hack 👍 I love the jar idea for the ribbon and twine
Loved all these home hacks, specially the plate cover!
Thank you for showing these helpful hacks. I like the candle and ribbon hacks.
Home hack... I always wet the onions and I never cry. 😊
That wine glass in the bowl hack is awesome! I would use a margarita glass because the mouth is wider and you have more room to dip 😁
I thought the same thing 👍
Thank you for the info about separating apples and bananas!
Home hack. Love the mason jar in the vase hack. The mason jar for your string was brillant. Why didn't I think of that .
I'm a beginner😊and ❤ your tutorials and upcoming ones too. Thank you!!
Glass jar in a vase to control drooping flowers or greenery, great!
Home Hack! I loved all your hacks especially #1, 2, and 7. I did not know why we store apples and bananas separately. Thanks

Love all of them. Home Hack for the win.
I love all the hacks but I really liked the amber bottle! What kind of drink was that? I’d like to have a couple of those bottles! 😀
What I learned at a restaurant is to put lemon juice on the cutting board before you cut your lemons and that’s supposed to help with the tearing burning eyes as well. I hope this help. Try it out let me know what you think. I watch all your videos and really enjoy them. Thank you!
I love your HOME HACKs!!! I enjoy watching both of your channels 🎉
Hi Liz I saw your cutting board was moving around when you were cutting the onions; use this hack put a wet paper towel folded under your cutting board and will not move anymore 😊
Home hacks. TY for the game link...looks fun!
Love the home hack mason jar in the vase!!

All your Hacks are the Best thanks Liz👍🏾
Wow! I’m sure going to try that Onion hack for sure
Thanks for more great tips. I have used the onion hack for many years. The berry tip does not work especially with strawberries. Fruits emit gases so store separately. Cannot store apples and potatoes together.
Yes ive known about not storing apples and bananas together for decades.
Love the onion hack!!
Liz, I always love your videos. You do such a great job.
Home hack. Loved the string and jar hack….thank you
I like 👍all of those ideas. Thanks 😊
Glad you like them!
Yes Liz I knew about the onion hack my father-in-law's told me about it and it really works
