USA is sports powerhouse, but lot of respect for China. At least, They (Chinese) made it to the finals, which is almost impossible for the countries like India, who is still hanging on Cricket only...
China has declined in the sports of many ... in early 80s a Chinese guy had wr in high jump until it was broken by a soviet athlete... Chinese women used to dominate volleyball but cuba broke their monpoly... Chinese women used to dominate 1500m,3000m , 5000m ,10000m running until East African countries ended their monopoly , Chinese women team used to be very good in football in 80s and 90s even played a fifa world cup final but then brazil, Japan, German ,Spanish caught them... now they are only dominant in two sport badminton and table tennis

The commentators are prejudice against the U.S. team, the tone of voice when a Chinese player makes a play, the commentators scream their approval, but not for the U.S. Are the Chinese paying the announcers? I would only ask for non biased announcers.

The match was play with very few fouls . Great for USA and China . This match can go a loooong way to improve relations between USA and China . Both are honest hard working and fair people . The commenters was very good on the Chinese team . You would almost think they were Chinese LOL !

Football may have a lot of viewership as compared with basketball, but only a select few plays the game - and competitively at that... Whereas, basketball is being played even in rough courts by kids and rough-shods, even in far-flung places....
