Mozart: Stuck in F-dur aus dem Londoner Skizzenbuch, KV 15hh

Das sogenannte "Londoner Skizzenbuch", auch "Londoner Notenbuch" genannt, ist gewissermassen das Gegenstueck zu "Nannerls Notenbuch" - mit dem grossen Unterschied allerdings, dass es nur von Mozart selbst komponierte und auch eigenhaendig von ihm niedergeschriebene Stuecke enthaelt. Es wurde offenbar 1764 begonnen, als der Achtjaehrige die Notenschrift fehlerlos beherrschte. Angelegt wurde das Buch vom Vater, der es mit dem Titel "di Wolfgango Mozart a londra 1764" bersah. Das vorliegende Stueck in F-dur ist die Nr. 33 des Notenbuchs.
The so-called "London Sketchbook", also known as the "London Music Book", is in a way the counterpart to "Nannerl's Music Book" - with the big difference, however, that it only contains pieces composed by Mozart himself and written down by him himself. It was evidently started in 1764, when the eight-year-old had mastered music notation without any mistakes. The book was started by his father, who gave it the title "di Wolfgango Mozart a londra 1764". The present piece in F major is number 33 in the music book.
