I’m new to to your channel. Year round is the best way to do it. I usually take 1-2 weeks off before starting the new year so they can have a break and I can prepare for the next year. Jade A was one of the first channels I started watching around 6 years ago. I would love to have more property, but for now we are taking care of what the Lord has given us. Yeah there's so many stickers out there to paste even for dates and the boxes too... I'm just trying to not buy all the things bc it's a bit addicting in all the good ways haha 🙃

We took June and the first week of July off. We started back this Monday, the 8th. We do a 6 week on and 1 week off schedule with a longer break in June so I can prep for the new school year. Our county follows the fiscal July - June schedule so we go along with that when setting up our new year. Makes record keeping a little simpler for me.
I’ve looked at Bullet journaling before but haven’t jumped on it yet. I love how creative you get to be. It’s awesome that you found a creative outlet in that! 😊

Your bullet journal was beautiful! I’m not creative or artistic at all but I definitely want to give it a try during my son’s preschool year, since I’m not doing much of planning.

Definitely give the bullet journaling a try... it's been so nice to do... actually writing in it now haha ❤️ I definitely recommend you getting a bullet journal from the dollar store if available (that's what I did as I mentioned in the video) and then it allows you to give it a try in affordable way. And yes squishy circuits is just too much fun... for the kids and the hubby apparently 🤣 thanks for watching ❤️❤️
I wish I was into the journal thing ... lol I try but only lasts couple months...I journal more about food 😅

Hi Gina! I’m trying to figure out what we need to do to homeschool in Ontario as we’re planning to move there soon. We live in BC now & my kids are registered homeschoolers here. Do you know if I can homeschool there without notifying the public school since my kids have never been to public school? Id appreciate any tips! I looked it up briefly but figured I’ll ask a few RUclips friends what their experience is. Thank you! 😄
Hi!! Hope all is well! Here in Ontario, the rules and regulations are super lenient... from my understanding, if your kids were never registered to a school board here, you won't have anywhere to send a letter of intent to and just homeschool them. We just moved up north to another district, and I had no one to notify. I would check the rules and regulations pertaining to your certain case, but I got this information online...
"Since you have not registered your child with the school board, and your child does not attend school, the Education Act does not require you to notify any governmental body of your intent to homeschool.
However, it is courteously respectful to send in written notification of your intent to homeschool if the school board contacts you and inquires about why your child is not attending school. Please see our questions on notices of intent to homeschool below."
