Tamilnadu people go, work, and settle down in other places, especially other countries. Similarly, other state people come to Tamilnadu for their livelihood. There is nothing wrong in it.
But, because of other state people, we should not lose our job opportunities in Tamilnadu, especially in government sectors. Settling down of other state people should not pose a threat to our language, culture, and job prospects of Tamil people.
Other state people and governments give preference to their respective states' people only. So, in Tamilnadu also first preference should be given only to the Tamils.

Regardless of this topic , I am from north east India , I finished my MBA under madras university college and work in TCS chennai one for around 2yrs now I am settled in my hometown but as per my experience chennai is very nice place and safe place for women , I missed chennai so much but due to my work here I can’t come again in chennai 😢 I do understand that Tamil peoples lost some job opportunities but as Indian we can also apply job anywhere in India if we are well qualified and have skills
It is actually not the skill based job they lost or are talking about. We are not going to lose that. Only the laborers and daily wagers are losing their jobs.

It's not the problem about skills, it's about how the native PPL treat an outsider, TN always welcomes outsiders like you. But when TN or non hindi speaker goes to hindi or aryan language dominanted states they get judged, decriminated based on language and region and deprived of basic right and fundamentals, that why most south indians except keralites (who Mastered the art of boot licking for survival) either settle in their own state or migrate outside India

It appears that a lot of people in Tamil Nadu are ignorant about the huge number of Tamilian's living in other states of India. It's all about demand and supply. If outsiders are forced out, Tamil Nadu will be affected more. Tamilian's are also ignorant about even neighbouring states. In a city like Bangalore kannadigas are a minority and yet people don't complaint. Local politics in Tamil Nadu has made the people very parochial. As time goes by things are bound to change, especially with negative population growth in the south of India.

Nobody is forcing out anybody. The vast majority of the people interviewed here are quite okay if not welcoming of outsiders. Tamilnadu has NEVER had any government-supported or a political party supported, widespread and systemic attacks against outsiders. The same can't be said about either Karnataka or Maharastra.

My kannada friends in Bangalore always complained about Bangalore being taken over by north indian and malayalis starting from 2000. In the 90s there were plenty of tamilians as areas in East Bangalore was inhabited by tamils since the Brit. Nowadays Hindi has become the lingua franca of Bangalore, which is distressing to me as a tamilian

Once you start mixing the people, you will slowly see Hindi language spreading across states that once had strong regional language presence. First southern state to loose their regional language to Hindi will be AP.
If you have a problem with Hindi why is Urdu one of the official languages of Telangana? Why are you using Arabic script to write Hindi? It is an insult to Hindi language. Hyderabadi Muslims had fought for Pakistan so why are they still in India? Why are you against the communal politics of the BJP ?

If students of North India (CBSE/ICSE) can opt for French and German over learning any other regional languages, why should the students from the South are expected to learn Hindi?
Other than that, I don't have any issues. In fact, I am satisfied with the present BJP administration for the last 10 years, and would love to see them again forming the Central government.

the recommendations of the Commission constituted
under clause (1) and to report to the President their
opinion thereon.

If the Indian government introduces a *minimum wage per hour*, irrespective of the individuals' origins, it would not only curb the exploitation of people from other states but also compel owners to hire local workers. Only in the case of a skill shortage would they then consider hiring individuals from other states.

we are indians. everyone has a right for free movement. But particularly the north indians must learn Tamil and speak Tamil only in chennai and not Hindhi. Because, in north every one speaks Hindhi only not even English.
Subtitles are not conveying exact meaning. It feels like the content creator has omitted the actual message conveyed by tweaking a little different or vague statements. If this is a document to reveal the actual opinions of people, then it should be 100% conveyed in translation as well.

Bombay, Delhi and Bangalore is full of Tamils so saying many from the north are living in TN is mere rubbish. One would be surprised to find big Tamils groups in places like Rourkela. People migrate for different reasons.

Those languages are closely related to Hindi and belong to the same language family so it is easy for you to learn Hindi. But southern languages are from different language family. So don't burden and expect all the people to learn Hindi. I have seen many people from Hindi speaking states coming to Tamil Nadu and expecting everyone to speak in Hindi this is what is called imposition.

Madam our people are not ready to work in low wage jobs. These two ladies how many tamilians work in love w wage jobs in Delhi, Mumbai, orissa and Up. Tamilian yiugsters are better educated so tyey are not interested to work in hard labour jobs. Even if they work tasmac is spoiling them. Most of the industry owneres complaint about this. All the issues in the entire world is because of allowing others to their own land ( Example we spend more than 100 years in freedom fighting).
