It would increased by 150% at the minimum. Shipping routes would be blocked by Yuuzhan Vong fleets, drug use would be on the rise across the galaxy with "death" looming over head, and of course, death sticks are awesome.

Smugglers will hold localized monopolies on the shipment of goods and essentials such as Star Toilet Paper, Star Milk, Star Eggs, and Star Weapons in a galaxy consumed by such a widespread Star War. More money can be made shipping low-risk legal goods than high risk illegal drugs. This will result in a constricting of drug supply as well as increased demand for drugs as the star war rages on, displacing trillions into poverty. Smuggling operations will grow into legitimate shipping corporations and pirates will be less inclined to interfere, as armed cargo transports will be in high demand. Former pirates with heavily armed cargo vessels will probably be offered pardons if they run legitimate trade routes during war time. Letters of marque may even be a thing. War is known to have the side effect of eliminating piracy and organized crime as both require a robust and stable peacetime society to flourish, as they are parasitical organizations.

It helps governments to have ties to a major shipbuilder for ease of producing needed vessels for various services. Kuat drive yards and it’s network of subsidiaries is no different.
I would definitely invest in KDY. It would be one of two shipyards that I would invest in (the other being CEC).

The early mentioning of the Death Star made me imagine a nightmarish scinario for all sides where extreem rebels miraculously comander the Death Star and fire it upon Kuyat to stop Star Destroyer Production. Like, on super strong Spice levels of bad decision making.

Interesting Legends fact: Supposedly the shipyard isnt just around the planet but rather the entire solar system itself and resources are brought in and then processed on-site.

What about the best fighter bombers in Star Wars? I nominate the Havok H-6 bomber from Star Wars Starfighter. The Arquitence is Corelian not Kuat its easy to missidentify but if its 3 round separated engine blocks its Corelian if the engines are clustered in one housing its Kuat.
. . just because of a non-standard design feature doesn't mean it's not made by KDY. But by using that logic, it can't be made by the CEC either, they don't make wedge-shaped hulls like KDY.
@@justanerdiguess4910 the hilarious thing is the Arquitence was designed by CEC. The Pelta medical frigate was designed by Kuat. Its tge weird but of clone wars ship design.

Such long term planning and investment can only be achieved by a privately held companies that are not obsessed with quarterly reports that demonstrate immediate shareholder value.

There is a certain level of existence I am prepared to live with. To me, there is no such thing as "too big to fail". Such an idea is utterly ridiculous to me. Not only do I believe there is no such thing as "too big to fail", I believe that if your business is scummy, it *_SHOULD_* be allowed to fail at any time.
What if thaf vital bussines perform important task for the country. You cant just let every business fail. For example If you let every airline fail how would airtravel be conducted. How long before new companies can be set up. It could cause travel and logitical delays for months or even years as new airlines are set up

There’s Probabaly a bunch of plentary ones in the works and throughout the coruscant system. Space traffic might have made it difficult to build up such large amounts of ships in orbti
In Legends there was one ship built on (or maybe more appropriately in) Coruscant. The Super Star Destroyer Lusankya was built below the surface of the planet as an escape vessel for the Emperor. Ysanne Isard used it to escape when She thought the New Republic was about to discover the ship's location (X-Wing: The Krytos Trap)

Which to be fair to Boeing they are tied with airbus for completed government projects in the past 20 years... at maybe up to 5 most likely 0.
