Sonic hero’s is a good game overall! Had great memories playing this! Theres some that consider this game not good but I find it hard to believe. The game has its flaws but it plays well and the level designs are amazing

(SCARY WARNING) I have a strange story about this game, I remember I picked It up back when It released In 03 and I was so hyped to pop It In to my ps2 but upon opening the game, the start theme that says "Sonic heroes" sounded like "SONIC IS DEADDD" and repeated.. then I heard the main theme repeat over and over again but more disturbing and... odd sounding.. I thought that It was just a bug so I pressed play, right off the bat sonic was glitching weirdly and his voice lines were replaced with weird chants and laughter? I was pretty spooked out by this but once I switched to tails, the tails model had 0 texture and was glitching all over the place... this weirded me out but I continued onto the next level, then I found out that the game was starting to break such as the character models turning red/pink and a weird Image of sonic with black bloody eyes appeared on screen flashing.. I was so scared as a child that I yanked the disk out of the ps2 and never played that copy of sonic heroes for the ps2 ever again

Man Sonic Heroes was such a good game, they don't make them like that no more
I don't want some open world bs game like Frontiers, just give is a good stage-based game with fun levels, good and fun story, quick and tight gameplay and banger soundtracks

While Sonic Heroes is arguably the most divisive game in the entire series (a lot of people consider it the first bad Sonic game, another whole lot consider it the last good one), there's one thing about it that everyone agrees on: Avoid the PS2 version like the plague.
Why it’s not that bad
@@gamingruizpt6604 Compared to the other versions, it's the worst. Sound effects are extremely compressed, the game can barely hold 30fps (every other version locks at 60), it doesn't have proper shadows, and it has glitches that aren't present in the other versions.
@@SonicSammich The reason why it wasn’t 60 FPS, because it would cause performance problems.

i had a chance back when i was 7 or 8 living in cuba to trade some games i had finish on my ps2 for this long story short the guy who wanted to trade ended up giving it to me and im glad he did its one of my favorite ps2 games up there with dragon ball tenkaichi 2 and tekken 5❤❤

I love TSR, but was disappointed they replaced Cream & Cheese with just Chao and left out Charmy, & Espio in the game and instead just threw Vector with Blaze and Silver. They should of been in the game!

I remember the first time seeing gameplay footage of GameCube and Xbox versions of Heroes and thinking how much better it looks and sounds than the PS2 version. The PS2 is the version I unfortunately grew up with.
But i bet you still had fun, dont worry, i grew up with the ps2 version, surprisingly i never had to experience any glitches like people say this version had, but i still had a blast, this game is still goated no matter which platform its on 🔥
