It would be more of a fix, the Arcane is terribly designed considering it operates in a spaghetti code system, it was bound to have dumb interacrions, the whole melee Arcane system was. They need to clean up their stuff already before haplessly tacking on new stuff on a system consisting of chaos and unintended interactions..
Well, I think we should instead enjoying it while it still last.
Citrine's Prismatic Gem can trigger Archon Continuity with the toxin procs, which can trigger Corrosive stacks - which can fully armor strip with two normal green shards.
This absolutely feels like the kind of playstyle DE would want to nerf 😅

Definitely patched out soon. You can literally just set a macro up to keep attacking and go afk. Thats the gameplay theyre definitely against

It shouldn't armor break on status spread spread, unless you go for 14 corrosion stacks.
Also sad that it cannot spread physical statuses for some reason.

Sitting here watching this video, and listening to all the different systems(Focus Schools, Archon Shards, Melee and Gun Arcanes, New Companion Rework), and its like

Just wanna add that Saryn can also use any melee with this setup if you put 2 green archon shards on her. 14 corrosive stacks can full strip enemies.
Having 12-13 stacks is better, since you keep spores keep the damage buff and partially ignore ferrite armor then
In low lvl content it's good if you wanna go super late then full strip is better

Trash mobs, such as Scorches and Lancers reach this threshold at roughly level 800 on SP and level 3000 on normal mode
100% armorstrip overtakes corrosive damage and 98% armorstrip at 87,500 ferrite armor, heavy gunners reach this amount at roughly level 1000 on SP and level 3200 on normal mode

Another bonus for saryn, if you put green archon shards on her you can armor strip enemy without using a dagger letting you use any weapon you want for this set up
Dual Ichor incarnon incarnon on that Saryn can kill outside of Melee Influence's range while still aplying the status effects needed for Manifold bond. Toxic lash makes it force proc toxin and the toxin clouds themselves will apply whatever elements you mod the dual ichor for, venom dose will add viral and electric is required anyway. That already puts you at 3 but adding viral or something as well can't hurt since you can take out all crit mods anyway because the clouds have 0% crit chance.

On Citrine you seemed to not have to build for range. You have to be in the circle to have the buff, but you can attack outside of the circle, ennemies will still be attacked by the prism
Glad you corrected your mistake when you originally said it only procced electric to enemies, when it actually procs your elemental damage
I've actually been really enjoying the electric/gas elemental combo with melee influence. My secura lecta slays and in combination with cordon, it's just so nice.

I don't think the damage from this Arcane gives the additional credits. In my testing with a rank 1 Melee Influence I am making maybe around half of what I was making without it when farming Steel Path Circulus.

I did mess around with the new melee vortex + mob vacuum spamming sentinel and just chill in a corner while Zenistar constantly pulled the mobs in the disk and killed everything. XD Was fun semi afk build on SP.

Welp, I can not test it anymore - HOTFIX 35.0.4 2023-12-20 patched it :/ Still, it was nice to see it how it exloits the new arcanes similar to the Javlock Throw+Chroma's 4th synergy type of constant damage spreading.
They patched lots of things this time - including unstopable void blast bug after a heavy attack tranferance to Warframe. And now Nautilius Cordon pull will not work with Overguard on eximuses, but it will still work after you remove it. Cordon also worked pretty well with Phahd Glaive Amp scaffold, removing their Overguard with two-three shots.

Consdiering Prova Vandal has that one augment mod that AOE electric procs on heavy, does that mean it can potentially spread at a farther distance than other weapons?

If any weapon is ok with Xaku you can use guandao or orthos prime since you can ctrl+E and hit without moving.

Can you try it with incarnon dual ichor. The toxin clouds are insane on this weapon. Kills steel path so easily. Sadly i dont have maxed arcane influence

Weirdly enough, i tested 2 green shards on citrine with archon continuity, and kuva nukor full strips armor in under a second with citrine's 3 up, but torid incarnon doesnt strip armor much at all.
Edit: and i tested orange CC shards on mesa. They literally wont proc. I get 1% CC added every 40 or so kills instead of every kill for some reason. The shield regen ones also dont work at all. seems like orange shards just dont work even
for the CC shards you need the enemies to have heat, i'm assuming you did that but just in case.
@@Mastrmyrtr9 i have primed heated charge on my mesa and i scaled them to steel path 195 for testing. They caught on fire before they died and it didnt proc. They were still on fire when they died too
@@undeadinside3571 you should also consider that regulators have a 10% status chance. But if they were on fire before they died then yeah that's weird. Either way it won't be worth it on Mesa when there's tons of better options, unless that CC is an absolute bonus which would be insane
@@Mastrmyrtr9 2 dual stat mods and a galvanized shot add 200%, so 30% SC and its weighted towards heat because primed heated charge. Its viral (from nourish) corrosive heat (modded), but heat always procs in the build

Bruh this update made the AOE nerf almost unnecessary - not to mention that the last 2-3 frames are potential nukers.
Any way to make use with new arcanes to make protea room nuke with finishers and temporal anchor?
The closes thing I can suggest is this + slapping melee arcanes on to charge it faster. Temporal anchor deals blast damage and can’t proc anything else no matter what, so it is very difficult to make use of it as a DPS tool.

Well... Daggers should not work for armor strip. Also as there is no IPS (for some reason... Like why?!), strip on impact won't work. As well as slash stacking (and that would've been even more broken which i assumed).
Xaku ability is a pain to account for though. I forgot myself that there is passive heavy AOE full armor strip in a game. Even despite fact that it is OP. And 14 corrosion to stack is counterproductive to required electricity on melee. Unless you use someone like Saryn or Hydroid?
But yeah, ability to deal damage for invincible enemy should not be there. But i know that it is not damage that is issue here, but status procs which you can apply. Meaning boss speedruns will suffer as well.
Well, there are few nerfs that DE can do:
1.) Invincible enemies cannot have statuses being procced on. [Trinity 1 exists though, basically almost invincible enemy with heal]. That will require for them to recode invincibility. Especially so as it will affect any ability that granted invincibility but not status immune (hm... Are they even exist? There should be)
2.) You must KILL an enemy with electricity proc to trigger arcane. This will basically almost murder arcane, as condition will be much harder to execute and IPS don't spread (for some reason)
3.) Make chance to proc MUCH lower, so it is inconvenient to set up. Like 2% proc chance. Meaning you need 50 melee hits on average to trigger arcane, while it cannot be triggered again until it runs out first. Range can also be nerfed in addition, so you won't be safe during this time window.
@@DimkaTsv It states that it spreads status and it does spread just status. The instant kills happen because electric, and also gas, tick once instantly upon being proc'd, unlike the non-aoe procs that tick only after 1s. And the dagger strip has always counted all damage originating from a dagger as a hit, it even works with Zeph's nados.
Also 2) and 3) are terrible even just on principle, since it's nerfing the entire arcane, not the particular "problematic" interaction (Is it actually a problem, is still a question, since where is it actually useful besides survival, which has an abundance of strats and reward acquisition can't be sped up there, and vacuum range is lower than the arcane's kill range so you prolly can't sustain life support while afk)
@@Ayzevbut status tick are not hits neither they should count as such. Daggers shohld not be able to strip by DOT ticks.
It's like to expect arcanes on hit to proc from slash dot and not hit.
And for nerf part. Whatever DE will find pretty. My babbling have no prophecy contained within, just possibilities. Remind you how DE murdered stuff? (khm, Maiming strike)
@@DimkaTsv They do count as hits for some other things as well though. I've even seen the corrosive on shots decree applying to slash procs, it's quite funny

While I enjoy the general powercreep with the new arcanes, I feel like this interaction on invincible targets should be patched immediately... that's just a few steps too far.
Putting this build on Xaku seems kind of troll. You could just as easily use his second ability with the armor strip from his third, and afk instead of melee spam. This seems like a lot of effort for not a lot of payoff.
