The Watergate X movie, released in 2012 on our "Ten years Watergate" DVD, shows what we love, what we do because we love it. Some of our long-term friends get to speak - now you can watch it online. Cheers and to the next ten years!

I‘m rewatching this after hearing the news that watergate is soon to close, it‘s so sad. Some of my favourite clubbing memories are in the club.

Tell me about it! Its getting worse in all major cities. Clubs are closing down because of high rent, high energy prices and more and more shyte... It really is sad
I LOVVVED this club!! What a night! The DJ lineup was off the freakin hook!! People were friendly and the bar staff were absolutely wonderful! Certainly going back there again when I visit Berlin.

@@UlyssesZopol I am really saddened by what is happening to the Berlin club scene. What an iconic place, so sad to see it close.
@@RockstahRolln What's also happening is that the people who created some of those places have been getting older, and along with their age change their values, and the Porsche is more appealing now than it was at the time. Along with these thought patterns are the entrance fees, the prices for drinks, etc. That way, it become unaffordable for many of those who made these places cool: the artists, the creatives, the psychonauts, the freaks.

Ganz ehrlich: sehr, sehr schöne Doku. Super Bilder. Schnitt, Tempo, O-Tône alles 1a. Sehr nah an der Realität. ABER: Leider meiner Ehrfahung nach wird hier alles ziemlich verschönt. So von wegen...“eh geil alter alles so geil ja Sven und so und wir waren ja alle von Anfang an dabei und eh guck mal da der Ricardo“. Fakt war aber (für mich): man kam da nach der Hard:sEdge „Ära“ im Grunde kaum noch rein, so alleine als Club Gänger. Da wurde an der Tür dann sowas gefragt wie „wie, biste alleine da?” und eh... so ätzend. Das gleiche was ja dann paar Monate später in der Bar der Fall war. Naja. Was ich sagen will: alles wird hier geilo geilo schön dargestellt aus Club und DJ sicht, aber jeder aus Berlin weiß, der Club hat am ende hart verkackt und da ging lange kein Berliner hin. Naja haut rein.

wirklich viele sehr gute DJs, deren Eigenproduktionen ich auch im Auto, zu Hause höre und nicht nur beim feiern. Hoffentlich schaffe ich es mal der Hauptstadt und dem Watergate meinen ersten Besuch abzustatten...scheint ein besonderer Club zu sein
Es ist der beste Club in Berlin. Das Soundsystem mit der Akustik ist einfach Wahnsinn. Meine Meinung nach nicht zhu hart und nicht zu soft.

dancing with chez damier last weekend on the waterfloor was another great night that I've had at watergate. A few years ago a dj played Lou Reed's walk on the wild side at around 10am to about 8 people on the water floor, pulled open the curtains.. it was magical....

Just went for my first time in April before hittin' up Bergain lol. Built up my liquid courage at this sick club gettin' down to the sounds of La Fleur and Matthias Meyer. Once I felt nice and right, walked over straight to Panorama Bar and got in on my first try :D

Leon Weber Man muss nicht 21 sein. Wenn du Berliner bist kommst du auch mit 18 rein hab ich auch gemacht. Bin letzten Monat 21 geworden und war bestimmt schon über 20 mal im Watergate. And der Tür sagen sie manchmal das es ab 21 ist und du deswegen nicht reinkommst, weil sie einfach nicht wollen das du reinkommst. Also es ist nur eine Ausrede um dich nicht rein zulassen.
Die LED Decke gabs zu erst im u60311 also schaltet mal nen Gang runter
