Producer is William Deneen. The film is narrated. The purpose of the film is to educate people on Hawaiian culture, fruit crops, travel and industry. The film opens with a view of the open sea. Lava explosions are seen, :30. Rock outcroppings in the ocean are shown: 40. A volcano is shown 1:10. A waterfall is shown 1:25. Aerial view of the mountains and volcanoes 1:55. Men paddle in an Outrigger Canoe 2:10. Polynesian women sit by a lagoon 2:38. Animated maps show the islands of Hawaii 3:05. The camera pans over the inhabited islands of Hawaii and names them 3:25. Molten lava crawls over the scorched earth 3:40. The island of Maui 4:00. The camera pans over the city of Honolulu. The Aloha Tower, 4:45. The Honolulu Port is shown with large freighter ships being loaded and unloaded 5:00. A plane taxis on the runway 5:15. The city streets of Honolulu who are shown 5:35.     super intersting! i just spent 10 days vacationing on the island of hawaii at the end of october, and saw several of the places from this video...how much has changed! lol, sugar ain't king anymore (been gone since the mid-90s, i believe) but tourism sure is! i'm sure they make tens of billions every year from tourism...it's *so sweet.* as always, thanks!
