The film is narrated. The purpose of the film is to educate people on Hawaiian culture, fruit crops, travel and industry. The film opens with a view of the open sea. Lava explosions are seen, :30. Molten lava crawls over the scorched earth 3:40. The island of Maui 4:00. The camera pans over the city of Honolulu. The Aloha Tower, 4:45. super intersting! i just spent 10 days vacationing on the island of hawaii at the end of october, and saw several of the places from this video...how much has changed! lol, sugar ain't king anymore (been gone since the mid-90s, i believe) but tourism sure is! i'm sure they make tens of billions every year from tourism...it's *so sweet.* as always, thanks!
