Q: How come the 81-717/714 are so noisy in Moscow metro? A: They're more likely have a higher acceleration, but that traction system noise reason, is not known to the citizens, nor to the train drivers, nor to their engineers who built them. They probably have a powerful pneumatic acceleration and deceleration system.
@@tomv3361 engineers didn't think of people comfort then as they were only bent on quickly building a successful rolling stock and putting it into service also Moscow metro had once to survive wars and bombs and probably lose many cars so authorities wanted to keep the greatest Soviet metro in operation
I'm glad that didn't happen. Try to stand against the wall at all times. That's what I do, especially in New York City. People always try to push you onto the tracks for no apparent reason.

The metro line in the video (line 10) still uses the older trains. But really the Moscow metro is amazing, in just about every way, far, far better than the London Underground (for example).
@@grantchallinor5263 trust, we're from London and London Underground still have trains dated from 1970's on the Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines. Only trains that are acc good are Jubliee line and sub-surface lines (but even they're slow).

Редуктор, тяговые электродвигатели, их там 4 на вагон. Реостатный контролер. И вапщето номерной топ.
Why wouldn't the engineers themself not know what it is? It's the gears in the transmission which makes most of the noise.
Well, it's simply older tech. Modern trains are not slower at acceleration, and they have even more powerful engines
