Another thing based on something I heard somewhere in the podcast, it's easy sometimes to forget when we have expertise in a field, that other folks don't have the extent of knowledge, and sometimes depend on the "experts" for explanations. I appreciate your in-depth coverage of the various aspects of what's going on with the Port. If I started talking genealogy, you two would probably fall asleep. ;)
Thanks also for the various ways to watch / listen! I listen through a Podcast app, but it's easiest to comment on RUclips.

Great discussion guys. Hope the strike doesn't go to long, for everyone's sake.

"Breaking (glass) news" is my level of joke...
The bow repair might not be necessary if they can dog off a few hatches to make the area water tight. Remember the volume of reserve buoyancy the ship now has, its like 14k TEUs lighter
Imports are important to the port because they help support the 'porpulation'

thanks, good point about the hatches, but what if water getting in there really effects the stability of the ship in really odd ways, like, ok this this is already behaving oddly like it hasn't since it was new, and now add an odd amount of weight to the bow, I know nothing about driving a ship, but that doesn't sound good to me.
