  • Gina is a combinational brew device.
It has a valve that controls the brewing process so you can either use it as a classic brew device or by controlling the time that water stays with coffee you can leave the coffee with the water for 30-40 seconds (immersion) and then open the valve and let the coffee drip.
The innovated scale that is on the base of the device can show you in the app on your mobile the weight of the used water and the weight of the extracted coffee. So you can adjust the procedure at your preferences and keep it as a profile to repeat it for your next coffee.
With three words: Tradition meets technology!
The coffee I use for the video is from my friend Jorge in Costa Rica and the Chumeca farm.
His family experiments with aerobic and anaerobic process and avoiding wet process for protection of the environment.
I store the coffee in an Airscape container that has a special valve to let the oxygen escape by pressing the special lid down. The conservation of the aromas and flavor is amazing!
As I suggest in the video try to freshly bring your coffee. Coffee beans last longer than the grounded coffee plus you can adjust the grinding size at your preference.
Ideally use filtered water and a boiler with variable temperature in order to adjust at 93-95 Celcious
Avoid using spoon for the quantity of coffee and find the proper ratio that you can follow with a measuring spoon.
