Hi Owen. Sorry to see that but no damage is great. I hope she hasn't lost her confidence. That motor sounds sweet on tickover and evil speeded up! I just fitted a Progression Ignition distributor to my 68 GTO to try to sort my poor idling. I can change the timing on my phone while driving. (On my private estate of course, officer.) Swapped my 30 year old Accel race coil for a new Blaster 2 and dumped the ballast resistor for a full 12v. She runs lovely and strong now. Cheers from North Wales.

Nice! Yeah, she's still confident. Best to learn by doing when you're young. I crashed into plenty of stuff when I was a teenager.

Oh she's fine, she was going really slow, just pulling off the road for some reason. The rain ditches in South Carolina are deep, and with all the growth in them, it's hard to see where they start. She pulled over too far, and the ditch pulled her in. Gravity and all. So she slid in there real gentle like. I figured the wrecker would do all the harm, fighting to fish it out. I was amazed that a bent antenna was the worst of it, crazy right? And it was barely bent at all. That wrecker dragged the car 20 feet in that ditch (with that crazy long antenna all the way up), before the car decided to finally pull up a bit, instead of just forward.
