- Starlo has joined back up with Robbie Riches of Perth Fishing Safaris to head north to the iconic rock ledges to fish at Quobba Station - this is some of the best rock fishing in the world!
Deep blue-black water, surging swells, slippery rocks, and swarms of game fish await the intrepid anglers, with hookups happening within minutes!
We're on for spanish mackerel, longtail tuna, and cobia, plus a few bust offs for good measure!

I've finished that exact same spot in 87 and caught some huge cod and Spanish mackerel but back then we used to hydro (hydrogen gas) out our bait with a balloon, slapping it across the water carried by the wind. But that walk back up the hill was murder lucky we had an Engel with cold can's in it 😅

Great vid guys! Planning my annual trip to quobba for this coming may/june - how far north of the homestead did you drive for this spot?
Any Quobba regular will know exactly where this is, ive made that walk many times .
@@dhiquobgnaloo well as it turns out, you may be a bit presumptuous as I do go "regularly" to quobba (once or twice a yr) and use the area from garth's to camp rock as my general spots however, and maybe because of my previous comment, I don't immediately recognize this spot. Since you know this spot exactly, can you kindly fill in my blanks?
@@patrickeijkenboom3649 I dont normally mention surf or fishing spots on the internet but i will let you know that they are at caves.
