Imagine that years later this car accident and seeing how Derek helped all of those people is what inspired Winnie to become a doctor and help others. AND imagine her starting her internship at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital along side Zola. When Winnie gets to preform her first solo surgery she says “ It’s a beautiful day to save lives.” And then while Zola was watching from the gallery she is shocked that Winnie said that, because Zola remembers that her father use to say that. Later she confront Winnie about it, and Winnie tells her the story of the accident. Zola tells Winnie that Derek was her father. Zola tells Winnie that both her parents were surgeons and she shows Winnie a picture of Meredith. Winnie remembers seeing Meredith.She and Zola become friends and each other’s “person”. She gets to meet Zola’s siblings who are also doctors at Grey-Sloan memorial hospital.

This episode is really infuriating. I do not believe for a second that Derek Shepard, a brain surgeon who was so smart that the President of the United States asked him to go work for him, would make such a brainless mistake like parking in the MIDDLE of the road! It doesn’t matter that his phone was ringing. You don’t stop your car in the middle of the road to get your phone. No phone call is that important. That is something I could see a dumb teenager possibly doing, but Derek Shepard?! No way in hell would he ever, EVER, do something so stupid and careless and just idiotic. It’s completely out of character for him and it just doesn’t make sense. He’s far too smart to make such a basic mistake. Also, who called the paramedics to pick up Derek? I guess it could have been the truck driver who hit him, but it doesn’t seem like it. Also, there was no reason at all they could not get a head CT. He was breathing just fine. They act like he is dying, but he was stable. There was no reason to take him into surgery. They had no data and no tests were done. In fact, the first thing they should have done was get a head CT. He was wasn’t able to speak, which is a pretty clear sign of something being wrong with his brain and that they needed to fix it right away. They just brought him in and determined he needed surgery without knowing what was actually wrong with him. The only reason they took him into surgery is because the script said they had to. He was completely stable. At least Penny was smart enough to know to get a head CT. She should have pushed harder though. They said he was bleeding into his belly, but where is the evidence of that? They did not know that he was. Yeah, they put a chest tube in, but that should have drained it. I’m not a doctorHonestly I feel like if they hadn’t done the surgery, then he would have lived.

She claims Patrick's WIFE was her best friend & SHE couldn't stand the fact that he had cheated on HER (the wife). Things got so bad behind the scenes that Ellen wanted him off the show permanently. So she HELP Rhonda write the DEATH SCENE SCRIPT & for the best revenge...made sure she could be THE ONE WHO COULD BE THE 1 TO SAY WHEN TO PULL THE PLUG w/o having anyone to stop her. Then run away to try and recover for THE HATE SHE seriously done to some1's marriage & career. The nerve of Ellen...for 11yrs of romance, love making, hugging, kissing, nakedness, & saying I LOVE YOU to a married man whether on t.v. or in real life. U shared this with Patrick from the beginning of Season1 thru Season 11. Btw didn't U cheat on Ur mate with Patrick's character starting from the beginning, and now cause he really cheats w/ some1 on the SET U have his career & character on the show KILLED OFF.
