I've had my Bernette b37 now for almost 4 years and dearly love it! I've done everything from quilting with cottons, baby clothes with stretchy knits and many polar fleece projects for holiday gifts and have NEVER had a problem sewing any of it! The decorative stitches are somewhat limited, but honestly, I wouldn't use many of them anyway. I did buy some additional presser feet, and this has made the b37 is an ideal machine for me.
Aaahh cosplay gods have blessed us with cowbutt content ❤ Great review! Super helpful to see the different tests with the fabrics to get an idea of the amount of warping and stitch quality. Love seeing you post lately 🎉
I'm so happy you're doing RUclips videos again!!! Long form content is my favorite. ❤ What a great review, friends. I love that you included so many details about the pros and cons of this machine. Can't wait for the other reviews too!
@@CowbuttCrunchies GOOD Bernette and Yaya Han made a collab 79 machine which is like a baby Pfaff creative or viking designer epic IIRC. And I don't want to get rid of the special machine feet I can get for multiple machines. But in addition I want to keep my machines low shank for that reason.
@@girlishgamer1 Yesss I'm excited to see reviews of the 79 coming in!! We don't have the combo to try out since we currently have our own embroidery machine and don't really have use for another one, but we do have the 77 to try next, which is the sewing portion of the 79. I'm not sure I'd say the 79 is comparable to an Epic (which costs about as much as a car lol), but imo not enough people are talking about the fact that Yaya's machine comes bundled along with the embroidery software, which can be crazy expensive on its own!
@@CowbuttCrunchies Oh yeah big shout out to Yaya for making it more accessible to cosplayers. the fact that she included DIY embroidery software in the package is a huge plus for the price. And bernette has a magnet hoop for embroidery which is AWESOME!
Like the info, but given that you are partnered with them (or sponsored etc.), calling it a review is a bit weird. I expect reviews to be unbiased and even if it is a great maschine that you would recommend without any kind of sponsorship/partnership, it still feels weird to me.
Totally fair!! We agreed to partner with them for workshops and classes because we do genuinely like the machine; we don't do a lot of partnerships in general because we're pretty picky about only promoting materials and equipment we regularly use ourselves! For full transparency, we aren't being paid to to make these reviews and this isn't a sponsored video - bernette originally sent us a handful of machines a few months back to trial with no contract or posting obligation, so that we could post whatever our honest opinions ended up being! It just so happened to be that our review is positive because we liked the stitch quality vs the price for the b37. 😅

Excellent review, thanks!!! I think stitch quality and consistency are way more important than the variety of decorative stitches.
what a great review dude

Haha long form is such a pain to make, but it's really the best for heavy info like this! So glad you liked it!!
Great review!
👋👋👌
So is this machine high or low shank?
Low shank! That's one big difference between bernette and Bernina: you don't need special integrated feet.
