This is basically exactly what I had done before finding out the middle didn't have a death barrier, I was hoping they didn't do a clean sweep and fix them all, good to know.
Thank you for the short and informative video! Any tips on where to aim to drop the shield? Having the hardest time dropping the shield before he does overwhelming dps on me. Ive been getting by with the bullet shield route and a crippling Holy Fire.
Honestly, it's a lot of trial and error hahaha. I must've died like 7 times before I figured out exactly where to aim and stand. It helps to start attacking earlier and then just moving your aim around until you finally find that sweet spot. If you have two screens you could also pull up this video and then have it be side by side with your game that way you can quickly look back and forth and compare positions. Hope this helps!
I did it the other way standing on the power armor frame and just letting reflective take the shields out before the damage phase but its good to see its still possible doing it that way since its much quicker and i dont gotta hoard up stims lol
Tried this and its not working for me. The sheild is either 1/4 left or 1/2 left and he just turns and kills me. Same Auto axe no mod on it. 40STR I can only assume its a perk card difference but idk since you didn't show what cards you had D:
It's gotta be an aim thing I'd imagine. The perks are literally just standard auto axe build stuff, thats why I didnt show it. All the slugger perks and incisor, bloody mess and whatnot. Are you getting consistent white zeroes as you're hitting him? If it turns into a yellow zero or if you let off attacking you lose the pounders bonus. Could also try attacking earlier. If you want, skip to the end of my last video. I show my perks off there for a sec and you can pause it and look everything over. I def should've done it for this one but I threw this together pretty quick and didn't think to xD

My latest perk build is now in the description. It's good for farming first boss and casual play outside of the raid. You would def want another loadout to swap to for doing the ultracite terror though since melee against it is a pain in the butt and not worth it in my opinion haha
Why not play the raids as intended? This will only lead to Bethesda disabling PA chassis solid physics so they are transparent like vertibot debris or loot bags. One less tool for building. The same has happened to the "the pitt" loot bag already because people dropped them in the air and were standing on the small box in events. (Which is ridiculous given the games lack of difficulty.)
You do much more damage with the auto axe in 3rd person. But you have to be in 1st person to take his shield down. Switch to 3rd to kill his health bar and youll see it drains much faster. Many automatic weapons have faster fire rate in 3rd person as well. Noticeable with the railway specifically
It is a bit faster but not by a whole lot. If you compare this one to my last video where I did switch to 3rd person, it's only like a few seconds difference.
@@BuenoMcgurski No worries hahahaha! Most of the comments like that have just been people trying to help or give advice so it's all coming from a good place.

That's right, no mods at all as they slow down the bringing down the shield phase. You'll do less damage to the bot without the mods, but you'll still kill him in the first round as in the clip shown.
