*_The last win was Legendary_* 🙃 Can you post an updated version of Kimbolt Slice? Also how to counter cultists? They just steal my units & I don't know what's going on.
For cultists they show what they are very early so there are 2 strategies. 1/ remove them all in round 1 denying the carryover they need. Heatwave scenario before it procs the 1st chapter or ignore it after that and heatwave tall unit instead. If you aren't control, push to win round 1 HARD. Bleed for shortest possible round 3 or to force scenario out. 👍
Thanks! I'm usually live Monday to Thursday 2pm-6pm (BST/GMT)! I've considered recording a chat overlay before but Gwent really doesn't have a place for it. Hope we get to see you in chat one day
Anyone still playing knights? I run my 1 year old knights deck, but I only face nilfgard, skellige and sometimes the radovent deck. What about siege or pirates?
playing with this deck being level 41 and not even 100 wins to my gamer tag, this is so much fun! Temeria is my favourite faction and i get hard countered by players who have played way longer than me lol
It depends on what you mean. I don't believe Gwent ever failed. It always made money and had a great player base. It lost the chance to be the size of hearthstone super early because of poor decisions in beta (midwinter) and lack of vision and understanding by the then director at the launch of homecoming. It was also too generous for its entire life cycle. Journeys from the start, monetized alternative art and more could have helped it. Sadly the reality is Gwent did amazingly well, but CDPR just wanted it to be something it never could be 😔 (the Gwent team are incredible, I don't mean them ❤️)
@@LionHartCards also the game did very well in the beginning, but what would you say caused the decline in player base over the years to the point we are now?. Still seems to me like a silly decision to abandon the game. Why not assign a team who know what they are doing and try to bring it back to it's former glory ?
In the early days it was fresh off the back of Witcher 3, had a $1m prizepool and about the same again invested for events. That will always bring huge interest but it simply wasn't maintainable with the state the game was in. If someone decided they wanted to spend $2m on eSports it would do well again but I can't see it sadly.
Cut down on the negativity. Way too much. Seriously though lion hart gotta make a living too you know? I'm happy that he gets more and more opportunities :)
@@zuundasz1700 I never said he does his videos for the money still or especially considering he also got a "real" job I think it's a good thing when he gets something out of it
I do, I also don't control the volume of adds RUclips shows right now. Just whether a video is monetised or not. (And even that can be outside of my remit). I may have another job, but RUclips videos take hours of work to put together. The option to skip adds for a creator here is possible just like any other platform. If the videos weren't monetized, they wouldn't be here. No shot I'd be combing through footage, editing and filming until 2am when I have work at 6😉 Obviously if RUclips seem to have put more than usual on I can take a look and see if there is a reason but more often than not it's to do with where that person is from and RUclips's ad policy. (Or it detects an ad blocker and puts double ads on)
Not a single comment on the fluffed thumbnail?
Ravodid it 😅
Lion heart as always never failing to give me a heart attack by delaying making an important decision until the last possible second
It's a gift (I blame chat)
Hehe, yes the last minute choices are intense :D
after a very long time I see an original and fresh deck, keep it up
Still agree that Radovid needs a bit of buff; the temerian infantry deck is just silly! :D

Great Video. Not played this patch yet. Don't even know what the new cards are. Will have to check it out now.
Thanks for the content Lionhart
Would love to see the chat in your videos. Would love to watch your stream but have never seen it live. Great videos though! Congrats on marriage!

I'm glad you're enjoying it at least 😁
got a long way to go before im good with it though, im glad you made my fav deck viable!
Your opinion on as to why Gwent failed as a game long term, and as to why CDPR couldnt make it work and gave up?

Actually i understand the devs, they didnt want to buff renfri anymore, with the renfri decks what we have at the moment is enough. 😂
