I truely wish a studio would pick up gwent get some support in and new cards or cdpr announce new support for gwent while alot of ppl left i stayed and still to this day play gwent and loving it sure the council doesnt always make the best decsions for eg nilfgaard buffs but im hoping and praying gwent wil go back to its former glory

NG has the most witcher of all factions. Because way of the witcher gave the same number of witchers in every faction, but NG already had witchers while other factions didn't, therefore, there's more witcher in NG.

Hello, happy new year <3 I fell in love long ago with Gwent but started playing 2 Days before. I cannot stop 😅 and I am happy that I found your channel.

there was that australian gwent partner i used to watch him a lot. I've been trying to remember his name, anyone knows? he always referred to chatters as "friend", anyone remembers his name? also what's this background grey skin called? @ 49:41 looks amazing. To answer your question I've been playing self wound melusine most of the time i find her the most fun, a little bit of svalblod and warriors here and there.

Seeing so familiar faces in this video makes me want to cry. I also miss the Gwent Developer Update monthly videos which Ryan Godric run the video. 😢

I play Pokemon (not the card game). Over the last 2 years, a very old format has been really increasing in popularity. This format is based on games that were released in 2002 - 2005 and have never been updated since then. The most popular youtuber can just post laddering videos and get 10k views in one day. Weirdly enough this made me decide to check out Gwent again. I think if the gameplay is solid enough then it can maintain a playerbase even without any new content.

Thank you so much for this video. What a cool part of Gwent history! Man, Gwent was such a big part of my life it’s crazy to me that I stopped playing it a bit before the last expansion came out. Still keeping my eye on the community, and miss the game greatly. Really want to go back to play it, especially with all the exciting Witcher announcements happening. Mostly, I’m hesitant because I’m afraid I’ll be absolutely terrible now and get obliterated.

Great retrospective. Just one wee bit that might make this more accessible. You could include a little popup with the speakers' names when they first pop up. I was of course fully invested in Gwent throughout the pandemic, so I recognize most if not all of the commentators by their faces. Might be helpful to any newcomers or people who didn't really follow the competitive scene.

Thanks for sharing this to a wider audience, I took the opportunity to post the video on Gwentfinity Hub as well! As far as I know this was only available on Twitter but I believe many people missed it. Such a wonderful experience, I mean I know I am exaggerating this but trust me when I say that in terms of production quality those events were close to the likes of The International. Maybe it's because I love Gwent but maaan I wish I could have been there :(

I can tell you who build the deck in the first place: a streamer under the name JimWolverine, who's been doing quite a lot of meme's for quite a long time. You can find the deck and video easily (I don't place a link here for the obvious reasons).

I came back to gwent after a long break and im having so much fun learning the new cards and decks 😊

I think the best gwent can do is a symbiotic relationship with other card games, like someone that play yugioh-pokemon-Magic could try gwent as a new experience. I think that is the only way to revive the game, we need to make friends with the other communities. You know what put Marvel Snap too, lets go connect with everyone.

Glad to see you back. I’ve been itching to get back to Gwent for a couple weeks with all the Witcher announcements happening like W4, the new book by Sapkowski, new comics, physical Gwent etc. How crazy would it be if in Witcher 4 they had some sort of built in multiplayer lobbies to play against other players?

I quit when they announced Gwenfinity. I'm playing Marvel Snap now, but I'm not really a big fan of the Marvel universe. The game itself is okay to play a few quick games, but it's not more than that. And it's frustrating because it's becoming more and more pay 2 play. So I'm getting tired of that. I'm looking to get back into Gwent now, it's the only game like this I really enjoyed playing and watching on stream. Have to learn the meta and the mechanics again, but I'm ready to dive into it.

Now that Witcher 4 is dropping, I hope this game gets a bigger fan base and new dev support #NoGodsOnlyMonsters

Gwent is coming back in Witcher 4 in 2025, so hopefully CDPR will relaunch this game 🙏🙏🙏

Recently came back to it after a 2 year hiatus. I don't care if it's in maintenance mode. It's fun and that's all that counts.

I hope that with Witcher 4 they bring Gwent 2

The big problem with gwent is that you must play the meta aka nilfgard and when people trying to nerf the whole monkeys bang toghether and buffs back. Project red should have given the tools to modify how cards work and not only buff/nerf the power/provision.

Just got back into gwent after a 4 month absence, and it's still an amazing and annoying game. Made it to r3 so far with scoiatel madoc relicts. Loving the deck diversity throughout the week, the weekend warriors with their never-ending NG status decks, not so much.
