Hi Laura I love love love your garden I love your shed the doors on it I just love the view from when you first start at the Gate!!! Kinda reminds me of that movie bewitched with Nicole kidman when she gets her new house !!!! I love your fountains ⛲️ and your big urn on the side under where you cute bird was living with her nest 🪹 🪺 that really makes it look so sweet right there!! I want to live in your Garden lol its so pretty 😍🌱⚘️🪻🌷🌻🌸 I love all the Garden ornament bunny's!! I'm going to the garden center tomorrow I need to get a bunny for my garden!!!! 🐰 🐇 🩷 u got me wanting to get Dahlia, Canterbury bells, Strawberry Blonde, Rockin Playin the Blueso Salvia this spring!!! Rockin blueso kinda reminds me on cat mint!!! Thanks for sharing them!! Beautiful glass green house ur so blessed enjoy!!! Love your little flower lamp you have on ur work bench in there to cute! Love all the lights at night time!!! Now that u don't have the tree in the yard u should put a firepit and have fires have marshmallows at nights with your family !!! My kids love summer nights outback having marshmallows!!! It's been 3weeks since your last post please do an update soon love your channel and your voice is relaxing 😌 haha waves from Canada 🇨🇦 🌸 oh and I think your raised flower beds look so nice the way they are with the door showing in the back idk it just looks so cute!!!
I love my Hellebores ,this year they came out so beautifully.I’m looking forward to this growing season & I look forward to see what you do this season.Have a great day Laura
I'm loving my hellebores too! Lots of things going on in my backyard too...rethinking and moving things along with getting some new hardscape. I'm very excited about the season though.😊
I have exactly the same sink installed under my stairs that go up to my FROG. Hubs happened to have it at his farm…..he is a bit of a hoarder and I am glad he has a place to store his treasures but lets me shop his store.
Great to see you Laura . I’ve got some moving around to do in my garden as well , sometimes I wish I would stop having those „ brilliant „ ideas as i call them because it’s a lot of work and sometimes frustration on me . I’m not young anymore. My husband will say : Here she goes again
I think moving the raised beds between the structures is a great idea, as someone who spent the last year reorganizing the structure of my potager I know how much work it is but it's been so worth it.
Thank you Sullivan! It feels like it makes sense from a functional and aesthetic perspective. I’m looking forward to seeing everything you share this year!
The greenhouse has been a great addition to the garden. You can pop up those raised beds with a crow bar and move them to the new spot. To see if you like the look and if you don't, just put them back. Especially if the soil is a bit frozen it shouldn't collapse into a mess.
Ahhhhh! That’s so funny! I was just thinking, I’m lifting and moving them to see! Last year I lifted thd old ones up while the soil was still hard and they stayed like big blocks of cake. 😆
Hi 😃 getting excited for spring 🙌 I also like to leave the garden clean up till spring too the bird's love the seeds to my cone flower and the gardens give so much winter interest especially when it snows. I like the idea of the vegetable garden being near the shed and greenhouses. Enjoy your garden and creativity as I know I sure will be enjoying mine.
I love the idea of your raised bed gardens being between the greenhouse and garage. Love the line about the ornamental plum-"Straight up dead" A realistic gardener! Love your videos!
Your vision of the gardens being over by the green house will look great. I have lots of clover in my lawn and the woodchucks, rabbits were loving it last spring and never touched my garden until we got the drought and then that was it. They went after anything they could. I love hellebores.
Your garden is looking great. It's so exciting when bulbs begin to bloom and there is a hint of spring. I like the idea of moving the raised beds to the area between the greenhouse and the shed - a lot of work, but there will be more sun. You could plant small boxwoods as a border to "hide" the wooden structures of the raised bed, but they are not unattractive. I enjoy your videos so much!
Oh my your yard is starting to come to life. Yea that means Spring is coming. Thank you for the walk around your yard. I love your sink and I can't wait to see what you do with it. So nice to see you again. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. Your friend from Williamstown.
That sink looks like the one I had growing up as a kid in my house. I know it's old because we lived in an old house and had a cast iron tub too. Like all your gardening plans.
Thanks. I don’t have one particular source. Most are from lowes. They are resin weatherproof wicker. Some I use an inner pot, some planted directly into the basket, depending on how tightly woven it is.
Laura, I love the idea of moving the raised beds between the 2 garden structures. I also noticed how sunny that area was during this video, so it’s perfect! The hellebores are exquisite. My garden is really starting to wake up here in Georgia. I have Hosta coming up along with my Lily of the Valley and Crocus; imagine that! And the pollen is already full force (get busy one time 😂). I can’t wait to see what you and Rock Star Marc do with that sink. It’s going to be a fun Season!
I love the idea of the raised beds between the greenhouse and shed. Perfect! I hope that not too much gravel raking is involved. I bought a couple more Hellebores too. Waiting till our last frost date ( super late this year)has passed before I put them in the ground. Also, I am waiting for the call to pick up my Zephirine Drouhin Rose. I thought the rose colour would be a bit paler, but what the heck. I might hit you up for a tip or two regarding care/blooming. I think it was Claus who said that roses bloom on stems that are horizontal or halfway horizontal, so I'm wondering if you have found that to be the case.....
Hellooooo my dear friend! So glad to see you!! Thank you! I’ve really been debating but it makes sense to have them there I think. I love ZD roses. Especially that they are thornless. Confession - I am just “properly” pruning roses this year. At least I think. 😆 I’ll definitely keep you posted. Put it this way, I did it wrong before and still got flowers. 😆
I also love the idea of putting the raised beds near the greenhouse! Oh my goodness ! You lucky girl !…..the old sink is a dream find of mine! We rented a very old home from my grandma many years ago and I had one in the kitchen. It had the drain thingys on both sides. Ugh I wish I had it now!!!!!
It’s always fun to make changes to the garden. I’ve already made my changes this year since it’s been so unseasonably warm here in GA. My changes were mostly a lot of hardscaping (decorative block raised flower beds & expanding a couple, as well.) I also moved a couple of very, young trees to different locations. I got tickled when I saw you had already started a plant stash in one of your raised beds. Girl, Ive already started “collecting” a few new plants, too…just waiting for spring to be planted! Lol Love your idea of moving your raised beds between the greenhouse & garden shed.Perfect location…they just belong there.
You are ready for a good season!! Thank you for this encouragement! I’ve been going back and forth about moving the raised beds, and the more positive nudges I get, the more I feel it’s the right decision. Thank you! 💜
Thank you! I’m thinking of maybe matching and having more boxwoods on either side, like when you walk into the gate. Maybe even adding a small ornamental tree, or moving my fountain over there and doing some design with boxwoods and flowers around it. 💜
You've got a lot more growth than we do. My dafs aren't even up yet! Have you considered just adding some smaller horizontal trellises for the climbing rose?
I enjoyed the update. What are thinking of doing in place of the raised beds if you move them to the new location? Also, I love the front of your house. How about an update of the front at this time of the year?
Love your videos and the size of your garden. I haven't watched your videos in a long time (shame on me). I'm starting a redo in my front and back yard,we just took down a tree and had the stump and some of the roots ground out. The roots were growing on the top of the lawn and made it difficult to mow and the tree was dying in sections, I'm so glad it's gone, I get to start from scratch and I think I'm going to go through some of your videos and get some ideas from you. Thanks a lot for being an inspiration 😁🥀
Thanks for sharing! I’m in Southern NJ also, and have been looking at all of your past videos. Do your heuchera come back well each year? I absolutely love them, but have not had good luck with them staying nice looking throughout summer…particularly the wild rose and wildberry variety. These in particular also do not seem to come back strong the next year. Just wondering how yours have done.
I don't know what zone you're in, but I can't have heuchera in full sun and I live in a mild climate-Vancuver, Washington-where it rains about 9mths out of the year. So I keep my heuchera in my shade garden or on the east side of my house where it only gets morning sun. Long story short they come back every year because I keep them in shade to part shade. I tried them in full sun and by the end of the week they were almost dead. Hope that helped ☺️ Have a wonderful day 🌻
I’m in Zone 7A, and also do not have them in full sun. Partial shade to mostly shade. It just seems to be these varieties with the darker leaves. My chartreuse colored ones, in the same area, have done well for years.
It was really hard to hear you at times due to the wind, may I suggest you cover your microphone when it’s windy. It was very hard to follow what you were saying.
Instead of screws in your beautiful siding, how about training the canes up over your window and attaching to the trim. Shame to start punching holes in your siding which will be there long after the rose.
Lovely ad always!
That sink is going to be perfect in he greenhouse!!!

Hi Laura, thanks to you, I just ordered my first Wakefield ruffled clay pot. I’m so excited to add this to my garden.
She turned me on to Wakefield too. I bought a couple of sets of the white and rose pottery last year. I'm looking forward to using them this year.😊
I love it! So happy you got some. His pottery just makes me happy even when there are no flowers. 🥰💜
Good Afternoon
OMG really beautiful garden .
Awesome place..
Enjoy .. !!
I love my Hellebores ,this year they came out so beautifully.I’m looking forward to this growing season & I look forward to see what you do this season.Have a great day Laura
Love the idea of the raises beds near the greenhouse. Maybe you could repurpose the fence in the new location near the raised beds.
Love hellebores, too!
I'm zone 5B, and mine r blooming. So exciting!
Love, love your garden. It's so good to have you back making videos. I enjoy your great ideas. Keep on making these videos. I get encouraged by you.
I always enjoy your garden and your ideas and ponderings. Have a super garden year!!! The Helebores are gorgeous - a favorite plant for me.
So excited for spring …. I think moving the raised beds is a wise move …..it won’t be fun but it’s the right thing to do 💪❤🌻

Morning Laura - loved seeing your early spring garden. Enjoyed how you inserted the photographs of some of the plants in their summer beauty.
Thank you Susan! It’s always so amazing to think all these things will be so pretty, when they look so dead. 😆
I think moving the raised beds between the structures is a great idea, as someone who spent the last year reorganizing the structure of my potager I know how much work it is but it's been so worth it.

Hi Laura, love ur garden. Could you please do tutorial video about making a crossing wires on ur vinyl fence for climbing vines ? Thanks.
Laura, I have missed you. Squirrels enjoyed my tulips…..stinkers. Squirrel stew?
I love the idea of your raised bed gardens being between the greenhouse and garage. Love the line about the ornamental plum-"Straight up dead" A realistic gardener! Love your videos!
😆😆 I listen back to the things I say sometimes and laugh. It is what it is right? Haha! Thank you for watching Phyllis!

You have done a lovely job and have such a good eye for things. Enjoyed!

Wish I could get my hands on a sink like that. I also grew up with cast iron sink and tub.
I love your videos!! Where do you get all your basket planters? Do they have inserts?
Thanks. I don’t have one particular source. Most are from lowes. They are resin weatherproof wicker. Some I use an inner pot, some planted directly into the basket, depending on how tightly woven it is.
I love hellebores too and have added a few this year also…we know Spring is on its way !😊

Beautiful! Remind me did you build or buy your raised beds?
Thank you! Those are from Gardeners supply. I had ones prior that fell apart, so I invested in something to last.
like the idea of moving your raised beds next to the green house. i think it would look good
but what ideas to you have for in front of your shed
Thank you! I’m thinking of maybe matching and having more boxwoods on either side, like when you walk into the gate. Maybe even adding a small ornamental tree, or moving my fountain over there and doing some design with boxwoods and flowers around it. 💜
@@HowsItGrowing sound like a great idea
Lucky you!! The chipmunks have their way with my daffodil bulbs.🐿🤨
Oh no! Such jerks. Ugh. 🙈😩
So nice to see someone local on here. Looking forward to following you this season, I’ve got lots of questions.
Hi! Oh I’m so glad. Love connecting to local gardeners. I’ll help any way I can! 🌷🌷
I am trying to create a hellebore colony. People have told me they reseed but I have not had that happen 😢
In your lawn I would suggest crocus tommisinisnus Small daffodils also work well

What is your favorite boxwood to use in your garden?
Two faves, Sprinter, and Baby Gem. Baby Gem is a little more stiff and Sprinter a bit softer to the touch.
Thanks for sharing! I’m in Southern NJ also, and have been looking at all of your past videos. Do your heuchera come back well each year? You’re right for sure! I’ll very likey do something similar. I will update in next video. Thank you! 💜
Don’t put holes in your siding for the sake of a plant. I know you want it a certain way but the house will outlive your rose.
Very true! Definitely looking for other options. 💜
