    I like yours better than the one I did. Got my eye on the new micro version of the Adventure Sluice. The bucket idea will work well with it, too.

    Love the header box idea you have. I need to build one for mine and this helps a lot in the idea department. Thanks for posting!

    I had been trying to figure out this idea the last two days. This is exactly what I was looking for. Quick question, how did you make the sluice easily removable to clean while preventing water from flowing though the hole in the bucket?

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Yes, I did remove the top part, I will show it in my next video

    Great video, your power supply and controller, do you have a parts list? would like to construct one. Thanks

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад

      The power supply came with my mini monster high banker . A controller and battery connector with some engineering wouldn’t take much to make

      It came with the Gold Fox mini monster i have. I think it would'nt take too much to replicate it though.

    I dig it man, creative setup. Is that about 10 degrees?

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад +1

      I have it at 8 but it’s very forgiving

  • @teolegrande304
    @teolegrande304 Год назад +2

    Nice setup :) I'm trying to do the same one, so far it's not working, the sluice holds little gold, almost all washed out. What is your angle of inclination? I tried 7, 8 degrees.

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Im at 9 degrees , What's your flow ? What are you using for a pump?

    • @teolegrande304
      @teolegrande304 Год назад +1

      @@RemOutdoors I tried 9 degrees today and the sluice is picking up gold better. But there is still sand in the sluice and it seems to me that the water head is not enough. I have a 750 pump and have a valve, I can adjust. Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions, so there too advise 9-9.5 degrees. But for the fine sand angle advise to do less, and for heavy soil more than 9. Tomorrow I will continue to experiment, I want to increase the percentage of caught gold, but still a lot goes to the tail.

  • @danielhughes9556
    @danielhughes9556 Год назад +1

    Just a quick question. What angle do you recommend for the sluice?

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад

      It really depends on how you use it and the material your running. For cleanup of fine gold I like 6-7 degrees and running slower .

    • @danielhughes9556
      @danielhughes9556 Год назад

      @@RemOutdoors I use it on the river. I've already used it a couple times, but I dint actually set it to a specific degree. Just what I thought looked right. It definitely caught some gold. I'm running classified to 1/4 inch material. Mostly stuff from the gravel bar for now...

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  Год назад

      Dream mat is very forgiving. I doubt you lose much if anything. Just make sure your getting the diamond flow pattern and the cells are churning. If the magnetics start to clog the cells clean up more often.

  • @13thbiosphere
    @13thbiosphere 2 месяца назад +1

    What sort of recovery rate were you getting I mean you're catching the leftovers so you should be able to come up with a percentage I'm guessing 95%.... I don't mind losing 5%

    • @RemOutdoors
      @RemOutdoors  2 месяца назад

      It was about that. I’ve since changed how I do my cleanups. I’m not 100% recovery
