I had been trying to figure out this idea the last two days. This is exactly what I was looking for. Quick question, how did you make the sluice easily removable to clean while preventing water from flowing though the hole in the bucket?
Nice setup :) I'm trying to do the same one, so far it's not working, the sluice holds little gold, almost all washed out. What is your angle of inclination? I tried 7, 8 degrees.
@@RemOutdoors I tried 9 degrees today and the sluice is picking up gold better. But there is still sand in the sluice and it seems to me that the water head is not enough. I have a 750 pump and have a valve, I can adjust. Carefully read the manufacturer's instructions, so there too advise 9-9.5 degrees. But for the fine sand angle advise to do less, and for heavy soil more than 9. Tomorrow I will continue to experiment, I want to increase the percentage of caught gold, but still a lot goes to the tail.
@@RemOutdoors I use it on the river. I've already used it a couple times, but I dint actually set it to a specific degree. Just what I thought looked right. It definitely caught some gold. I'm running classified to 1/4 inch material. Mostly stuff from the gravel bar for now...
Dream mat is very forgiving. I doubt you lose much if anything. Just make sure your getting the diamond flow pattern and the cells are churning. If the magnetics start to clog the cells clean up more often.
What sort of recovery rate were you getting I mean you're catching the leftovers so you should be able to come up with a percentage I'm guessing 95%.... I don't mind losing 5%
This is truly the smartest idea I've ever seen, its like a natural river flow
This is a great idea. I will be trying to replicate it
Awesome setup! Great idea with using the hose
Nice set up! I will be copying this idea. Thanks
I like yours better than the one I did. Got my eye on the new micro version of the Adventure Sluice. The bucket idea will work well with it, too.
Great idea! A nice steady flow into the sluice.
Love the header box idea you have. I need to build one for mine and this helps a lot in the idea department. Thanks for posting!
Great setup and idea. I like this better than the one I cobbled together. Thanks!
Hey , it’s what we do, cobble together!
I like that hose idea, talk about recirculating clean water the entire time cleanin' up your cons. Very cool setup and thanks for sharin'! 🙂🤙✌
Great setup indeed fam. Keep on having fun getting that au. Gold Squad Out!!!
Genius, never thought of this
Well done 👍 I just got myself a adventure sluice
Great setup I did one similar with my adventure sluice but I use a pond pump
Okay nice and cool little setup wow
I’ve been wanting to build my ow. Recirculating system. Just might have to now lol
😮❤ coolest thing
Nice compact setup...
VERY NICE SETUP
I love this idea
Always nice finding gold you missed!
👍 still working good for you
I am going to do something similar with a Banjo Pan. You are one samrt dude.
Awesome setup.
Thanks!
cool, I like it. Thanks
Cool!
Great idea brother!
Thanks!

Yes, I did remove the top part, I will show it in my next video
Great video, your power supply and controller, do you have a parts list? would like to construct one. Thanks
The power supply came with my mini monster high banker . A controller and battery connector with some engineering wouldn’t take much to make
where did you get your battery setup I've been looking for one of them and I can't find it anywhere
Nice…I like!!
That's a nice set up. How did you rig the small battery?
It came with the Gold Fox mini monster i have. I think it would'nt take too much to replicate it though.
I dig it man, creative setup. Is that about 10 degrees?
I have it at 8 but it’s very forgiving

Im at 9 degrees , What's your flow ? What are you using for a pump?

Just a quick question. What angle do you recommend for the sluice?
It really depends on how you use it and the material your running. For cleanup of fine gold I like 6-7 degrees and running slower .

It was about that. I’ve since changed how I do my cleanups. I’m not 100% recovery
What pump are you using?
1100 gph
