Dee Why Lagoon Wildlife Refuge - Northern Beaches - Sydney - NSW

Thought I’d go check out this wildlife refuge while I was in the area.
Dee Why Lagoon Wildlife Refuge is situated next to Dee Why beach and can be accessed from the beach carpark.
It provides a safe home for many animals that would normally call the area home before human development.
So come check out this location with me and maybe it’ll inspire you in future to pay it a visit.

Was worried for a bit that the feather was going to be as close to a bird that you got. 😋

Almost was until the end of the walk. There were some wetland birds but even at 600mm I couldn’t get close enough
