- Come along with me to see what Rennsport Reunion VI in Laguna Seca is like. I travel from Toronto to Monterey and bring you along on my adventures during the epic Rennsport weekend September 27-30. This is Part 1 covering a photoshoot with Michael Christensen, a Porsche Factory Werks Driver and the 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, then exploring the race paddocks on Thursday and showing you up close all of the incredibly rare, priceless and historically significant race cars.
Thank you for watching!

Wow! Porsche-phile heaven. Almost sensory overload. You could pick any one of those cars and do an entire video on just that! Thanks for the vid Jakob, looking forward to part 2!
Thanks so much for checking it out!! Part 2 will be out soon! :)
YES!! I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been waiting for this all week. Thanks again for the great vids.
Cheers! Thanks! There is so much more to come!! This was only Thursday lol! Thanks again!
Haha, what can I say? I really look forward to Thursdays since finding your channel. So glad you made it out to see this and film it all. Next best thing to bring there.
Wonderful video.......and, great choices of music!
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Captured it beautifully Jakob. Man that event is a bucket lister for sure! Peace!
Thanks so much Brian! Yeah, 100% Bucket List event. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing this, it was amazing! Awesome video :)
Thanks so much for watching!!! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon
You're welcome, I always loved your work. Can you say me what bodykit the white badass 993 RSR has? Is it from factory or a custom one? The RSR is supposed to have the same bodykit as the GT2, isn't it?
That RSR has a factory kit but it was installed on a narrow body Carrera. Yes, the RSR had the GT2 bumpers and flares. I filmed a seperate video of this car that I'll post in a few weeks :)
I’m fairly new to the Porsche scene last three years and wasn’t aware of Rennsport hype and magnitude. Thanks for the great Vlog. I’m for sure going in 4 years now. It really looks like a big time. Can’t wait for part 2.
Mike, thanks for watching! Yeah, this really is like the Olympics, but for Porsche. I highly recommend that you go to a future one. Stay tuned for the following videos - this was just the beginning! ;)
This is super cool. You had the time and the access that I wish I had. Thanks for producing these videos. It is fun to see what you got to see and what I missed seeing. I only had a day there so your videos are great to go back an relive such a fantastic event. Cool getting a chance to hang out with you on Saturday!
Definitely, always great to see you man! I can't wait to post the other videos! I have so much footage and so much editing to do still lol. Cheers! I hope to run into you soon again!
You got me with the Porsche 904...another great video - thx!
What a beauty huh?!!! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for the next one!
Thanks a lot for taking us with you on this trip! I have to see Rennsport Reunion next year in person for sure, especially now that I bought a 996 Turbo with manual trans last week! ;-)
Thank you for tuning in!! The Reunions happen once every 4 years, with this year being an exception for the 70th Anniversary of Porsche. But definitely, it's one of those events that you have to go to if you are a Porsche fan. Congrats on your TT!! Amazing news! Enjoy!
Nice one mate, nice to find a decent Porsche dedicated channel here on YT, and some good coverage of this event at last, looking forward to more!
Thanks for tuning in Matthew! I can't wait to finish/post the other videos! So many epic cars :)
Thanks for posting this, I wish I could have made it, but work gets in the way. My favourite part, by the way, is discovering that there is a 962 out there with a 'The Last Open Road' sticker on it.
Thank you for tuning in Stephen! Sometimes duty calls! Ha, incredible, about that sticker on the 962, I'm rewatching the video to find it. I have more to post from the other days, this was only Thursday!!! :)
Thank you for the "public service"!!
Thank you so much for tuning in! cheers
Great reporting vid again Jakob... Great stuff!
Thanks for tuning in Richard!! Stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon!
Good meeting you in person! In case you don't remember, day 2 late morning in the parking lot, 993 section when Darin was hanging about as well. Great to see your Rennsport footage!
Yes, great meeting you Jimmy! Stay tuned for part 2 and a few other videos more 993 specific soon!
Awesome video Jakob
Thanks Herwig!
Omg the Singer ♥️
Among all that other eye candy!! This event is the ultimate! :)
Awesome intro and content.
Thanks Nick!
Great cars, historic and iconic, your audio kept going out for some reason.
Great video mate. What is the name of the music ?
Thanks, the music link is in the description under the video
Looks like some NSX 993 fusion lol
Why is the sound intermittent?
Where do you find all of the beats/instrumentals?
He's left links in the description mate
I know where to find the links but what I am asking is where he finds all the instrumentals used in the videos. Perhaps a specific Spotify channel, idk.
RUclips or Soundcloud generally. But if you check out the links in the descriptions, you can find other music by the same producers, different mixes, playlists, etc. I find one of my biggest challenges with the videos is finding suitable Creative Commons 3.0 licensed music. I hope that helps.
