I went to Ranchi for the first time in 1983. It was in Bihar. And the weather use to be like hill station, if day temperature rose to 35°C, by 5pm it will definitely rain. Have fond memories of Ranchi.
It's surprising that you are not aware of Khir Mohan and Rajbhog. Both are made of Chhena but have different taste. Must try from the best shop of of any big city. Ask localites for best shops like Tiwari Brothers or Haldiram. Must try. It's absolutely different from Rasgulla and Divine taste. Don't miss in East India. You won't find in Delhi.
You missed Malaiyuu in Varanasi.
