It's actually a normal sub-par performance by Lin. I feel that Lin hasn't really peaked and is actually beatable when he's truly on an unlucky day. But once Lin perfected some of his forehands and positioning, he's gonna be Ma Long Calibre.

It's genius. I'm saying the less forceful balls are a strong point of Lin Shidong's play.
