Dennis Parker needs to cut an album! I need his tunes to listen to as I am traveling! I’m a major fan. Great song! Mike Rogers is no slouch either!
Awesome harmony one of my all time favourite tunes simply pure and beautiful
This sounds like the Dennis Parker that I used to know. I was always amazed by your talent and you embraced me as family. That was then. I miss you man, but it’s good to see you do what God intended you to do.
Me again here commenting lol… please Russ never take this video down, it’s a part of my regular routine!
Outstanding Dennis and Mike. Sound perfect from vocals and guitar. Watch and listen to this weekly.
These two are fantastic by themselves but together…..wow!
If that don't take ya there, nothing will...
Dennis, I feel the Lord when you sing brother. I praise the Lord for the gift he’s given you. Thanks for sharing.

The endless talents of Dennis Parker on display again. And funny as ever. What's the first words? That's a great way to start. Mike Rogers, also top of the heap as well.
Time to cut an album Mr. Parker, all the best !
One of my favorite songs! Written by Fred Lehner and Andy Spooner, these two kill it, Joe would be proud!

Dennis makes music with such emotion and it’s so amazing and beautiful. This video really touches me, thanks so much for this Russ.
Great singing harmonies and the sound of that Martin. WOW!
Joe was smiling down from Heaven when you two did this one!! One of my favorite songs of his and this is an AMAZING cover of it. Those harmonies were pretty fantastic! I’ve always said that, you’re a harmony singer or you’re not! Mike DEFINITELY is!!!
Great job Russ these two are awesome I've got to share this with my buddy Jason Yancey
Great song
Great cover! One of the best songs.
Incredible instrumental and vocals matched with a beautiful song. Paints the perfect picture in the minds eye.
Wow!
Great video. I’m a big Mike Rogers guy!
Couldn't agree more! My favorite version of Quicksilver was when Mike was with them
Outstanding. Great sounding guitar as well.
You da the man!
very nice song
God placed Dennis’s videos in my path this past weekend and holy cow!!! What a TALENT. From the voice, picking and guitar. Is that Bourgeois in some of your videos Brazilian? Awesome tone!
Thank you Dennis and Mike for brightening my day 🙏
We’ll drive wherever to see you perform live 😊
Guess I’ve been living under a rock as I only discovered Dennis Parker about a year ago via 81Crowe (thanks Russ Carson). I’m a huge fan now & what a blessing his music is to me & I’m sure many, many others 🙏
Hey there, one of your subscribers here lol, anyway I asked about the Brazilian RW Bourgeois in another video Russ has and Dennis himself responded confirming it was indeed Brazilian. That’s a sweet guitar and he knows how to use it lol.
braderrick this is Dennis again. The guitar in this video is actually Mike Roger’s Martin. Its not my bourgeois. His guitar is a hoss. Good guitars play themselves. They don’t need much help. You just hold on…
@@dennisparker7301 cool, I was curious what this one was you’re playing here. It sounds great too. Would love to hear guys both pick together sometime…
Absolutely killer y'all ❤
Great job Dennis, I’m sure Joe would be proud. This song came out about the time I got out of the Army in 1990 and I was so happy to be back home. It is a great song, but always reminds me of this time in my life. One of Joe’s best songs and he has a lot of great ones!
What an awesome song, everytime I hear it im taken back to my childhood home
Pure talent! Beautiful work from you both. Thank you so much for sharing this…
That was just amazing. Thanks for bringing us that video Russ.
What a beautiful song. Love the harmony and the acoustic guitar! Sounds amazing like a concert!!
Awesome, guys!!🎶💙
Beautiful version
This is fantastic what an awesome singer these to are great songwriters. Please post more like this
I get such a rush out of his testimony.
Thank you, Dennis.
Loved this . Really really good
Lord god yes!
You two guys are amazing...
Russ…what brand of guitar was Dennis playing? Love the clarity and tone…
Thanks for another amazing video..
Russ I got an idea. We’ll call it The 81 sessions. Each video it’s different banjo players playing your 81. They shall play their favorite banjo song. The first video should be you obviously.
If Ricky Skaggs is in your area, go! Worth just for Dennis’ testimony and solo.
Just a thought, it would be nice to watch right hand technique.
What kind of guitar? Sounds great
Album please
