It's new cymbal day babyyyyy 🥳. These x-plosion crashes are probably the best ones I've heard, so when I saw this 18 inch one was available at my local music store I felt obligated to go get my 20 inch one a little sibling 😂.

Which china trash cymbal do you use? That sound is just what I need
Thanks a lot! That's a Wuhan China, they're pretty great, and fairly cheap too. I haven't seen them sold in many actual music stores but you can generally find them on amazon easily. Be warned though, they are LOUD AS HELL 🤣

Thanks! I reaasaaally like that kind of beat, I was so happy Hannes used it in a song ahahah. It’s a bit of a shame it’s really hard to get the notes that aren’t on the open hi hat loud enough to poke through since they’re pretty fast though, they get a bit lost :/. Even with a hi hat mic I can only push it so loud before it starts sounding wonky when it’s opened. At least you can see the notes being played in a cover like that xD
@@bidulus1 yeah I have the same problem as well and if you look at some pro footage from Sabaton themselves most of the times they have it there as well... Shame
@Lorenzo Contini Yeah, I was listening back to dreadnought on just my phone speaker and even in their mix it’s hella hard to hear, you really need some headphones to hear them more on one side separated from the kick / snare / bass / vocals. I think it’s just the nature of the beast lol
@@bidulus1 try koss ksc 75, with them I even heard the notes played by foot on the hihat (I hope you know what I mean)
