Hello, thanks for the review. I am considering getting one too, to use for playing along with songs at home practice (mostly rock genre). I am unsure on volume; will this do for this purpose? I can’t play very loud as I live in an appartment, but still I want to keep some body in it (and am used to old big amps) What are your thoughts? Thx
I have one. It isn't loud, but the sound is amazingly full. If you're looking for a very high fidelity and pure bass tone at about the volume you'd use to play with someone playing an unamplified dreadnought acoustic guitar, this is it. But if you're looking to fill a room with loud bass, look elsewhere. The amp was designed to be extremely small and light, while still producing real bass guitar tone. For that purpose, it excels.
@@lawrencegenereux8567 Thanks for your reply! I ordered one, but have to wait for the back-order till October. I think (hope :) ) the volume will do for playing along with songs at home - which does not need to be loud, just fair volume.
@@SeanBlitzkrieg I should have clarified for the argumentative keyboard warrior types: I mean in newer product lines that offer bluetooth playback in general. I'd watched the video.
That's incredibly thorough. I hope everyone appreciates how far you went on this review.
I have the PJB Double 4 I use it for practice at home, and I highly recommend it. PJB makes some awesome gear. Great review and demo!
PJB's small boxes are magic. I'm curious to hear this side by side with the double4.
Thanks for this review. Small amps can be a secret ingredient for recording...
If I didn't already have a Double Four I would definitely pick this up. The bluetooth functionality is awesome.
What a nice amp and by the way... Very good song indeed.
Great review and what a monstrously good little amp! I use PJB D-400 head with C4 cabs and can honestly say the stuff is brilliant.
Amazing piece of kit and excellent video demo, Chris.
VERY NICE,
THANKS MARC
Well that's pretty sick isn't it. great video, thanks!
Would love to see a tone shootout between this amp and a spark mini.
Volume wish how does it compare to the Spark I use ? Thanks good review. Makes great products.
I'm looking for that comparison as well
Can it power a external cab as well as the internal?

No battery?
Nope
Did I miss some information? How were the samples recorderd? iThe ones I n the first five minutes of the video
Re-recording via headphone out sounds very Stange and is Not recommended for beginners :-)
It sorta sounds like its kind of moving air, sort of...
The string sections sound very Cradle of Filth
If it can’t do Bluetooth playback and direct instrument output at the same time, the ball was dropped.
Did you watch the video?
4 mins and about 40 seconds later that question is answered. Though I don’t know why there isn’t more examples of what THAT sounds like. 🙄
