    I so appreciate that you showed us the full cycle from seed to flower. Many videos get us started but we don't get to see the finished product. Thanks for taking the time to make a complete teaching video.

    I did a hard pruning with my peach tree and the branches will make good pea trellises plus a bonus of peach blossoms.

    i have planted sweeet peas for the 1st time this year. im so excited to grow them this year! i was so worried about growing them with a young child as she will walk throiught the allotment/garden and eat freely. now she is older and we have a flower garden ill pop them in there and im much less worried about growing them.

    Those deep Root Trainers are great!!!!they don't usually have Them in Garden Centers unfortunatly!

    Thank you for sharing... I especially love the you shared the continually training and growing!!! some people just plant and move on which does not show if whatever worked, or the final outcome! I, like someone else who mentioned on here, would love to have the source for the cane supports. In US and I cannot find anything like them! and I do not like the plastic ones now sold... but I cannot find them anyway, anywhere.

      In Australia we have bamboo sticks that seem pretty much the same 👌🏼 My Mum just uses chicken wire!

    Hey I am new to gardening and sweet peas are one of my favourite flowers! I plan on planting them in a pot as you have done, could you please tell me how big of a pot I need and how much percentage of compost to soil do I need to fill the pot with? 😄

    Growing them for the first time! They started off with a bang but slowed down at about 6-7”. Not sure what I should do to get them to how even more? Have fed them with miracle grow.

      Same here. I planted them two months ago and today they look like I planted them last week. I think my seeds were duds.

    I find that cutting a surface slice off the seed and soaking the seeds for a night helps with germination.

    Plant on the inside of the wigwam and tie some Tring around the canes after planting, and you don't have to worry about tying in much.

    Hi, when sowing from seeds.. after put the seeds in the compost (i did it outdoor directly), do we need to water it every day?

      Adityo Ariwibowo I’ve had good success by sowing into damp compost and then hold off, do not water until germinated.

    When it rains is it ok to keep then outside? I was thinking they might get over soaked but I'm just starting out and keep them in the small plastic/cardboard container. I've kept them inside and just open my blinds for Sun light, is that effective or do they need to stay outside and really feel the sun?

      If you want to do the same job and recycle then use the cardboard rolls that the toilet paper is on. They also rot in the ground which saves disturbing the roots

      I saw another video where the seeds were placed on top of wet paper towels in a dish overnight, then planted. I did that, and so far they are all growing well.

      I soak mine overnight in water before planting. You can also just nick the seeds before planting instead.

    Wait so why the “you don’t want the seed pods to start developing”?? Isn’t the whole point to get the sweet peas to develop so you can eat them?

      CcchrissS sweet peas, the flowering annual, the pods are poisonous. These are different from the peas grown for food.
