Or.... you could find a stud in your wall, use a slightly longer screw, drive that directly into a stud to help secure. Then hang the Batwing. Driving a screw directly into a stud would definitely be a more secure/sturdy option.
I will never figuret out without your video haha, i just check my because i wanted to put my on the wall, started to look on the down part and try to see how to do it haha, never think that i need to do that, was thinking that with a regular nails will be enogth haha, thanks!
I was going to say, yeah you want about 3/4" between the screwhead and the wall and I would suggest a 1 1/2"-2" screw to make sure you have enough of an anchor. Also if you can find a stud to screw it into that will insure that you won't risk it falling.
Instead of taking apart the cockpit, if you simply put the batwing on the stand so the nose is facing up in the air the mounting block is accessible from there.
Thanks for this! I have a question: how far down from the front of the Batwing is the wall mount? I'm planning to mount mine to the back of a display cabinet and want to know how far down I need to place the screw. I know I could figure it out myself if I built the set, but I wanted to have the cabinet ready first so I can place the set inside as soon as I build it. 🤪
I was annoyed when I built mine that the cockpit canopy just kind of sits on the chassis and isn't securely connected, so two questions: 1. Did your Batwing stay on the wall since you hung it? and 2. Did the canopy stay put, as well? Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this tutorial! Helps big time...
Glad it helped!

Just putting mine up tonight as part of my new display room. Very helpful! Thanks!

Good advice! I'm gonna have to remount this soon, so I'll keep that in mind.

Both have stayed put! I've actually moved my Batwing to another room since I made this video, but I've had no issues in either place.
what size screw did you use?
Thanx, this helps me a lot!
I put two screws 😂 gives me anxiety still
Did it fall or is it still up there? :)
I moved it to my new room about a year after I made this video, but it's never fallen!
did it fall?
Nope, it stayed up until I moved it to my bedroom and it's still hanging there too :)
I've only used a screw, is that bad? 🙊🤣
