I love that BENUE pen you have there. BENU has become my favorite brand since I bought the Iced Caramel Latte

Thank you. I love my Benu’s. I use broad nibs and they handle shimmer inks beautifully.

I just came across this video, and we have VERY similar pen tastes! My latest two pens are the BENU Watermelon Mojito and the TWSBI Mini Grape! I also have a love for TWSBI in general. Very high on my wishlist are both the Kaweco Iridescent Sport and the TWSBI Diamond 580 Iris!

I have the Blue Swirl too. It's big and heavy. It has to be the largest or one of the largest I have. Even towers over the 149. What material is the nib made from. Mine is an 18kt gold in medium, and it is a gusher. I'm just wondering if you got in gold or the palladium nib.
As to your question. I usually have a maximum of 6 inked up at one time. I keep one in every nib width, so I have all my options available, from a fine to a stub, and another medium or broad, or 2 grinds. I can't handle having so many pens inked up.

My Blue Swirl is 18k palladium. I love the nib. Great writer. I lean more towards the Broads and stubs but a few of my favs are mediums and they are great gushers. Thanks for your comment.

@@clarecocophotography454 Since you mentioned you have RA, do you find that heftier pens are easier for you to write with, and what about how long you can write for given the weight of the pen? I'm just curious.
Thicker sections are better for you right? I can list some pens that might really help you. The Pelikan M800 or 1000 are bigger pens. Montblanc 149 has a really thick section. These are however, very expensive. The Delta Dolcevita Midi and Oversize is even thicker than the 149, and you can get them with a steel nib, so that lowers the cost. Delta was/is one of the premiere Italian pens.
Cheaper alternatives are the Moonman Q1. That is really fat, and some Indian jumbo pens. Those are pretty good quality, steel nib, and very cost effective.
