Alligator is one of my favorite creature features. The movie was based on the urban legend about sewer gators.

Alligator was a fun monster film back in the day. It didn't seem to take itself too seriously. Thanks for the comment!

I still remember how I used to have so many rubber plastic shark toys as a child after watching a lot of shark films like Jaws and Deep Blue Sea

*6:41* Ah, this brings back memories. I had the lighter one with those grooved fins.

That guy was everywhere. I remember going to a Seafood Restaurant in the small town I lived in as a kid and they had that one in a net on a wall, along with a plastic toy lobster. You never knew where that rubber shark would show up! Thanks for watching.

Im pretty sure I had a version of the 2nd Chemtoy shark. It was perfect for eating up my Star Wars action figures.

I believe that was its speciality. It was the best at what it did, but what it did wasn't very nice. Not nice to 3.25 inch action figures, that is. I hated when they would get stuck inside it. A great toy that brings back some great memories. Thanks for watching!

Any time I turn something on and the beginning is narrated by Jacque Cousteau, I know it's going to be epic.

I miss Jacque. I remember many summers watching PBS specials with that guy.

This may more akin to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Jaws. But when I was a kid in the 90s there was this line of toys called Street Sharks which of course was about a team of sharks that were superheroes.

I remember those! Vin Diesel did toy adds for those figs. They were part of the 2nd wave of Animal-Men that was brought about by TMNT in the Late 1980s and really hit its stride in the early 1990s. That line deserves some attention too. Thanks for the comment!

I still have the fisher price shark boat with the shark that my mum got me when I was in hospital in about 82-3? She had to bribe me with it as I refused to wear a dress (gown) during my stay cos I was a boy ha. All the fisher price stuff I had was so good yet it’s not remembered so well, the fire star, shuttle, alpha unit, adventure van and submarine kept me quiet for countless hours

Those Fisher Price Adventure People toys were some of the best toys from that time period. They were great on their own merits, but they also played well with most other toy lines from that time too. Heck, for a Fisher Price shark set, I might have donned a dazzling ball gown. Well, maybe if they threw in the octopus and diver set 😁. I am glad I never had to find out. Thanks for watching!
