    Love that you're doing a visualization exercise with FIRST GRADERS! I would have never thought that would work, and yet here you are, making it work. Thank you for the inspiration ♥

      I frequently forget about adding visualization into my lessons, but then anytime I try it it's been really helpful for the kids

    What happened to Magic Ball/ Magic Club They DONT do that anymore in physical education ? It was so much fun and it had different levels started with the round red rubber bounce ball and the last level was with the yellow tennis ball. Or What About Jump Rope for Heart !! Even Track and field day !!!

    Hey! Dope video man! I'm an education major taking a teaching PE class right now, and I have an assignment to do on throwing and catching from a stationary position. I was wondering if you had more videos like this showing the students walking into the room, calling roll, students sitting in assigned spots etc. Thanks in advance!

    Do you use the stations you mention for 4th and 5th grade also? Or do you make them do slightly different activities.

    What types of warm-up stations would you do for overhand throwing?

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  4 года назад

      You could do the exact ones in the video, but switch out underhand for overhand. Or do some target throwing (set up some pins, throw into a bucket, throw through some hula hoops etc)

    How big are your classes? We have between 70-80 students at a time.

    • @ThePESpecialist
      @ThePESpecialist  5 лет назад +1

      Yea that's crazy - for single classes I'll have 20-25 and double's we'll have twice that, but with 2 teachers.
      Luckily, we get treated like an actual subject and not dumped on just because we have a huge classroom.
      Check out this page for some large class tips:

      Thanks so much! We get evaluated with the same rubric as a classroom teacher, and are required to use Kagan strategies in every lesson. I love your ideas. Thanks for sharing!
