Some people actually like this fast paced yugioh while some want it to be slowed down. Instead of just flat out banning a bunch of cards, implementing master rule 4 (I think it was) to restrict extra deck summoning would make more sense. They just need to stop making generic links that break the game

Ex Verte good card if someone use it so summon winda or construct okay good monsters don't do to much. Phoenix enforcer and dragoon do too much for then to be accessible by everything

I’d like to see decks that can go second that are equally as good as the going first ones that can do it with just engine cards alone and not have to rely too much on generic going 2nd staples.

Make archetype links extenders and require mats relating to that archetype if not requiring specific archetype named materials. If you use a bunch of engines in your deck like how they are use now, it takes more of a dedicated main deck to go into certain extra deck cards instead of generic extra deck cards supporting and extending gimmick combos
This feels like Dragon Ruler/Spellbook format. You've got the deck that outpaces every other deck (Dragon Ruler/Splight), the ultimate fun police (Spellbook/Tearalements), the old guard that can't keep up (Mermail & Geargia/Despia & Swordsoul), and the poor kid special (Evilswarm/Exosister).
The 2nd game was insane. Powered through full board + hts, still had enough resources to make Accesscode and Baronne and still had 2 cards left in hand even.
@Q67 in the 2nd duel,spright was full power but tearalaments wasn't full power and it stills otk spright. Tearalaments full power will use orange light in opponent turn and havnis, then play around disruption turn 2.

I guess this is how people felt when all of their decks got powercreept by Shaddoll, BA and Tellarknights back in the day. I hope that this means that the other decks get stuff back from the banlist. I mean sure they want to sell them, but konami also has to think about the budget players.
Idk if I’m over reaching, but these cards are starting to make master peace look appealing. I mean 2 toad negates just by summoning toad plus the splight link 2… doesn’t even include all of its other disruptions. These decks are starting to look out of control
@@ReeVoque The reason for that is that we don't have a easy way to deal with them right now. The more staples we get which deal with them the more "balanced" it will be. I mean ApoQliphort Towers for example was insane until Kaijus and Utopia the Lightning got printed.
This deck looks incredibly fun and while mill based, is definitely skill reliant, the mirror sounds worse than a floowandereeze mirror though, however with mill there is heavy variance, variance you don't get playing the branded version for example, this is technically speaking a more win more strategy at this time. I for one am very glad LED10 is being stripped apart to give us a competitior to splight a little earlier even if... it's 4 later hahaha.
This deck is literally "what if shaddoll was on crack?" Who needs a fusion from deck when you can just mill half of it and do the same things even better?
Its funny people dunked on the deck even myself, but at least i knew It had potential,milling 5 is insane and i believe this is the first Mill 5 from a main deck monster, at least If we dont count one of the lavals level4

Kuribandit is faaaaar too slow for the current game. It needs to be Normal Summoned, and it activated at the End Phase. The closest thing to Ishizu's Fairies is Needlebug Nest, and that's a trap. Ishizu's Fairies, meanwhile, activate their mill if they're sent to the GY through any card effect, and they can do other things besides (one's even a handtrap).
They can 1 card shut down this deck with in archetype Dweller. Provided they can go first. Breaking the board with the actual deck is hard, you have to side stuff in. But they need more ways to play in opp. turn as well.
I can't be asked with these decks man. They're just so good and very hard to combat. I don't want to spend a load of money to own one of them (because they're going to be so expensive). Building my current decks just to beat them is going to be so difficult. YGO not looking like a fun game to play in the future with these decks coming.
I dont get why you arent locked in the archetype after using powerfull effect like in many other archetype (hero, plunderpatroll etc). That way you cant abuse toad/winda etc
Can I just say how sick I am of Fusion archetypes (and this has been a larger trend, but the fusion decks have been the most successful) just ignoring the Fusion mechanic entirely? There is functionally no difference between Tearalaments fusions and Link monsters. In fact, one can argue the Tearalaments fusions are MORE generic than links since they can use material from hand or grave! I just don't see how the game can be sustained if this is where we're at right now

I honestly hope this deck isn't as good in the tcg as it is in the ocg. The pure version I've been playing is super fun, but this and splight look like the makings of a miserable format.
Winda and Toad are the most cancerous parts of those decks (I don't like other archetypes getting hit cause of another but it has to happen) I woudln't be surprised if Ishizu cards get hit as well
@xy394 while I agree that winda probably should go, being as it's been a problem off and on as long as it's been around, I don't think toad is truly the problem in splight. Their tribal rank 2 is the reason why the deck is so unfair imo. Toad probably will be the card that gets hit because Konami cares more about making money than creating a healthy format, but I think the splight rank 2 will need to go eventually.

Well, ngl, I am impressed with the replays. The players against the teara guy played very well and even with that, he only lost to the ABC cause there was like, 8-9 interactions. Very interesting deck, and kinda hard to pilot too
Even if you already are playing 42 cards, I think thst the pot that soufflé back 5 cards may be good. Cause I saw some situation when you basically deck out yourself before winning
You don't need it, it's a dead card, you can simply use the effect of your multiple copies of Keldo or Mudora and put your key cards and/or engine back to the deck, or use it to disrupt the opponent's GY, since it's a quick effect.

I think this deck wouldnt be so broken if Haufenis is banned. The deck would still be playable but not broken like Zoodiac with Drident legal but Braodbull banned.
@@Lithium2300 just more versatile and consistent. Tearalements does have that little rng aspect to it still and the deck going 2nd will lose against stuff like Dweller for example. It trades defensive cards for more gas. Wonder how its gonna perform in high level tournaments.

Will you also cover the new Kshatri-La archetype? Currently, playing them with the Adventurer package would make the most sense because Gryphonrider and Illegal Knight are the most spammable Level 7 monsters right now
This and Splight make Despia, Floowander, Therions and Swordsoul simply not need any hits, they immediatly powercreep them.

It was actually Cost for effect for the Time Thief. You detach one for cost to banish the Time Thief until the End Phase.
This will 100% be stronger in the TCG as we are getting the Ishizu cards First. Then POTE.

I think this deck wouldnt be so broken if Haufenis is banned. The deck would still be playable but not broken like Zoodiac with Drident legal but Braodbull banned.

@@Lithium2300 just more versatile and consistent. Tearalements does have that little rng aspect to it still and the deck going 2nd will lose against stuff like Dweller for example. It trades defensive cards for more gas. Wonder how its gonna perform in high level tournaments.

Currently, playing them with the Adventurer package would make the most sense because Gryphonrider and Illegal Knight are the most spammable Level 7 monsters right now
