It is crazy to me how you manage family life, a working farm, continuous home/farm renovation and a RUclips channel that blends storytelling with artisan editing. I'm gonna have to say you average 3-4 hours of sleep and lots of coffee.
    You're truly impressive,
P.s, I'm really good at watching your videos. Lol

I particularly like that part about stepping down from the combine sometimes: let's hear a cheer for farm boys.

I’m a worn out old carpenter with 45 years in the trades, and I’ve probably built thousands of cabinet doors of every type you can imagine. I gotta say, this cabinet door project seriously impressed the heck out of me!

I really like that Kelly has been involved in a lot of your design lately (or the past couple of videos) Who knew the CNC machine would be the way to bridge your skills and hers
Another great project, thanks for taking the time to share with us

Drake and Maloney have six dedicated kritter fans - three dogs: Krakker Jakk (Jakkee), Rosie, and Jazzy; and three Katz: Ebby, Billy, and Bobby. I imagine they would get along well together.
Wonderful job on the kitchen cabinets by you and Kelly!!! They really look great!!!
I do some Swiss Chip Carving in wood. It is very satisfying as I am hand-carving my designs into the wood; but I must admit using a CNC with designs laid out with Sketchup, and automatically implemented using G-codes is very appealing too!!!
For anyone interested, I learned Swiss Chip Carving from Wayne Barton in Illinois in 1990. I live about an hour and a half north of him, and I was fortunate to be able to attend a few week-long SCC hands on workshops carving with Wayne and about twenty other students. Check him out on line. Cheers!!!

Every project is a story. You have such a natural grasp of the art that it seems effortless; when we all know it isn’t. I love how you have incorporated your growing family into these stories - each one seems like catching up with old friends. You deserve all the success you have, and what is certain to come in the future.

    Hi, Jason; I’m a new
subscriber from last week. I found your amazing video on the gorgeous signs you made two years ago for Frank, your sister's birthday, and the GiantBomb. I’d been looking for more content on Frank's cabinetry and stayed to watch your huge heavy metal project. A couple times, I had to remember not to drop my mug of tea; it was truly fascinating work! Today this wonderful video arrived via email with the adventure you and your bride had in re-creating the kitchen cabinets. Wow! What a classy difference! (They have gone from imaging how they would apologize for their existence to counting the many ways they could brag around town!) A kitchen that is as warm, beautiful, and uplifting as this one encourages people to visit it, cook, sit, and enjoy the rewards of your labors. Your videos are a double treat in that you are blessed with the gift for storytelling. It is a pleasure to watch and listen! Congratulations on your marriage, Jason! I hope that y'all (Drake, also) have a great summer. Thanks for sharing. : )

Fantastic video. Loved the deadpan sarcasm about you spending all your quality time in the attic to wire up your under cabinet lighting. As someone who's remodelled 3 homes, I would have killed for the CNC router you have. I still don't have one. Now I think I need to make it a priority. :D It's very nice to see your wife involved too. It makes the projects all the more satisfying. Well done and bravo. Subscribed.

Your comment of how great the attic is a great space to hang out really got me laughing. I'm in the prcess of re-insulating my attic(house is ~50 years old and all ventilation pipes etc. was probably cut up there and they where asbestos reinforced cement something, something(which i replaced and want to remove some/most of the loose contamination, thus re-insulating), temperatures hover around 40-55 degree C(100-130 F) in the summer, so extremely dusty and hot) and i couldn't agree more, fun nice space, love it ;-).

Wow! That was awesome! The insides of cabinets are never anything special. It's always the outside door. So this is actually one of the best ways to improve the value of your home and at the same time upgrade the look of your kitchen without spending $10,000. I think that's pretty amazing. Course I've never owned a CNC machine. And I probably never will. But if you can do this, it seems like a really great way to go.
