Your manufacturing is incredible and your products top notch.
Thanks for very nice product
Small ones look great for a 3d printer.
Great Presentation 👍👌👏
Thank you Barker John!
Nice
Can you slide this in a semi circle the V-guide Tech.
Why this product never been used on a CNC router machine? It probably looks best than the linear slide bearing type.
Mmhh...if in cnc or 3d printer... it will accumulate chips and smashes it directly against the roller or bearings...
It would be good for other home applications (ie: sliding doors)
List applications please.
I need something like this but capable of working outside in the elements I.e rain sun etc. Any ideas? It's to slide a tarp over my pool
Same here
Any ball screw nut inquiry?
👍
Interesting, specially for use in a 3D printer instead of those plastic rolls. Hmm, I could think of an DIY project in near future. When the price is acceptable and to get them at my home spot (without paying taxes for expensive delivery to Germany) it‘ s really cool.
Hi Mad Max! We actually have a location in Germany and I'm sure they would be happy to help you! Check them out here www.pbclinear.eu/crt/lineare-rollenfuehrungen/
PBC Linear thank you for your answer and this link. I‘ll take a look.
Some minutes later...
Autsch! I‘ve found the webshop with this rail system. It‘s nice, really, but not an alternative when you have to look at the costs for a complete system like a 3D Printer. A rail system made by SKF or Hiwin isn‘t cheap either, a Chinese rail production getting at Aliexpress could have several problematic issues like dirt or metallic parts inside, but when you are able to fix this Chinese productions failures...I try it. I‘ve ordered the part I need with cyber Monday discount. I think, it will be funny and not frustrating with chinese rails.
How well does these last outdoors? I am looking for a solution for adding slide out solar panels.
Hi Mechanic Man - Redi-Rail has been used in Solar Panel and other outdoor applications, the Redi-Rail product is a combination of Aluminum Rail and Slider Body and can be provided with an Optional - 440 Stainless Steel Roller/Roller Raceway in the to minimize potential corrosion. We would also suggest the wiper option with the oil impregnated plastic wipers to provide a form of lubrication between slider rollers and rail raceways.
Please note: 440 Stainless steel aids in reducing potential corrosion but can still tarnish or discolor over time with use.

I built a elevator. The hoist lifts the load and I used unistrut track/trolleys. It has a lot of play. What's the longest length I can get of this? 2 tracks at 30' and 4 trolleys to balance say 1500 lbs... ???
For now the carriage has a 2" gap all the way around. I'd like to close that gap to say 1/2" without the carriage hitting a joist. It's a 1500lb lift and I took a chunk of wood off already! 😃
Eliminating the connection of 2 pieces is ideal. One hair of track misalignment and the trolley stops with the system I used. 😮
@@roberthaas5372… Redi-Rail max length is 19 feet, so there would be a joint for 30 feet. You could also consider Hevi-Rail, but that would need to be welded and ground smooth.
If you could message us with your contact information, we can have an application engineer reach out to you. Or email us at: info@pbclinear.com
Any advice on a system that can be tensioned strong enough to slide and hold 30lbs. in a vertical rail slide configuration? 12" vertical travel. Any help is appreciated.
This product would be perfect for a DIY project I'm building except for the carriages being so darned expensive.

I have a question. What are the chances of friction or grazing between non rotating, sliding elements which are attached to the hardened crown rollers and the rails??
In any linear system setup, make sure to have proper clearance for parts of the system in motion and strive to have good alignment.
The Harden Crown Roller Rail is manufactured from ASTM A1011 low carbon steel which is essentially soft carbon steel, if the rail incurs mis-alignment, skidding of rollers, etc. the rail will likely scratch or show signs of wear in the rail. To minimize potential marring of the rail it would be necessary to use a hardened rail product such as “V” rollers/rail or Redi-Rail this will reduce the chance of scratching the hardened rail surfaces, depending on the circumstances even this cannot guarantee not scratching or marring the rail running surfaces. - PBC Linear Application Engineer
Title it Gyro Bearings....
all dimensional thrust.
Where is the manufacturing facility for these rails located? Trying to find US sourced components.
Hi John, we are located in Roscoe, IL - www.pbclinear.com/
What if my application requires a curve rail? E.g. Rails that needs to follow the contour of the staircase?
We're sorry, PBC Linear only offers “straight” linear guidance rail products we do not offer a curved rail product.
@@PBCLinear ok, thanks. no worries
need be hobby cnc users about 1000mm long rails can cutting/mill aluminium and less than 70$/ axis. cheapen lot and heavy can use. about normal hobby user 1000-2000 mm long.
very expensive hobby cnc builders not can use. no thanks.
