Nice trick on closing the gap on the top joined boards. One trick someone showed me was doing the same but matching them with one flipped over. If the blade is not 90 to the table, it won't make a difference because the 2nd cut is the inverse to whatever (89.5?) to the first.

Yeah I've seen that too. It crossed my mind as well. I triple checked my blade degree and decided that it should be good. One of these days I'll get around to making a jointing sled jig. Thank you for your support!
