Jim, the man with the big big gun station. Nice!!! And the total cost of the project, including site prep, tower, crane, rigging and other necessary equipment and coaxes just $1500. That figure comes from asking the spouse. Just so everyone is on the same page....
That was great. All the preparation, testing the antennas before hand, appears to have paid off. The installation of the tower and then the antennas looked like they all went together very smoothly without an major problems. 73, Jon Pearl - W4ABC
Thank you very much for this video. I first time seen have to mede the rotating tower. very nice setup. No I now why ar you so strong on the air. :) OK 73 GL SEE YOU ON CONTEST. (YL1XN, Chris 14yrs.)

Oh my god! So I guess you guys don't know that towers hold together under COMPRESSION NOT MY EXTENSTION!!!! There have been people killed by picking towers up at the top and trying to set them down... the bolts give way. The proper way to so this it to run a cable through the center of the tower down to the bottom so that all of the weight is resting on the bottom of the tower putting all of the sections under compression. Lucky you guys weren't killed.

Great setup. We won't have any problems working you from NR5M ;)
absolutely beautiful , How much $$ for an incredible setup like this ?
Nice, wouldn't mind a mast like that, what is the music track? I am so chilled right now.
Clair it is for Hamradio contesting, EI7M won their class in Europe last year
Now I know why you guys are so loud!! Makes my beam at 12m look minute.
With all that land, I would put up a few Rhombics, who else on the block has those?
Why so many multielement Optibeams? Why not monobanders?
Why not put the bolts in from the top?
So that it is easier to tell if something is off in the structure, missing or loose nut etc
Video muito bom,excelente tower.Qual é esta musica de fundo??Abs 73
total price withe crane !
Somebody with a half size G5RV dislikes this video...!
I would take a Big Bertha over this, one guy wire goes on this and it all comes down.
