      Hearing the people talking also humanizes them, it makes their decisions less suspicious in my opinion. VAR audio should be available for every game I think, either as a secondary channel or as a separate immediate public release, especially for the first division of each league. Keeping it under lock is counterproductive.

    The refs did absolutely nothing wrong. The problem is the time spent. What really took the most time was the offside call. The system the Prem has right now I don’t think the refs can go faster than they did either. If they go faster they will get decisions wrong. The Champions League offside system is much faster. Thats where I think there can be improvements, to the actual system. Champions League has a semi-automated offside system which makes it faster and even more accurate. Idk why the Prem said no to implementing this but imo this is the only way of improvement atm.

      im not siding with either teams here, but this argument ain't it. First of all, with the exception of a "benefit of doubt" scenario (rashford vs liverpool in united's 2-1 win over liverpool) where they wouldnt call an offside if both lines touch each other, there is no other "in-between" outcome for offside. Either you're off or you're on. Secondly, Jackson's position hinders the line of sight of the keeper, and therefore as long as Jackson is offside, he should be penalised. peace

    Jackson was so far from the GK, he is almost near the edge of the box while the GK is on the line. There is plenty of line of sight for the GK to see Caicedo's strike. So a player can be between the half way line and the goal in an offside position coming back from play and his team mate shoots towards goal and score and he is judge to be offisde obstructing GK's view? There must be some extent to how this offside blocking GK view can be applied. Jackson was nearer the shooter than the GK.

    im new to following football, but i just don't understand the foul on romero, everyone saying he's a dirty player so he deserved getting sent off which i understand i guess, dont see how it applys though. but what does everyone want him to do in that situation? somehow clear the ball and defy physics by stopping his foot before it follows through or alternatively not do his job as a defender and just let the attacker have a shot........ like enzo didn't even make an attempt, he ran up to the ball and just stood still waiting for contact

    • @Patrick-qz6tn
      @Patrick-qz6tn 6 месяцев назад

      If Romero were taking a shot and his follow through landed his foot on a defender's leg like that, there's no way refs give an attacker a red card for that contact. Romero was playing a ball in his possession, Enzo made no attempt to play the ball or avoid contact with the progressing player. Take this a step further and players will be running into the studs of someone who just kicked to get the kicker sent off. Picture this, Salah shoots on goal, scores, but Romero lunges in so Salah's studs land on Romero's shin on the follow-through... you want to red card Salah for that?
