- Meet the leading women who are reviving the Prophetic traditions of women’s roles in the Muslim community. Historically, Muslim women have been at the forefront of Islamic scholarship, shared equitable space and roles in the masajid. During the pandemic, many Muslim women leaders, activists, and scholars were given platforms to share their knowledge for the community’s benefit. How do we keep this momentum going and how do we inspire a new generation of thinkers to take up space in our masajid, organizations, and communities as leaders?
The Annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The convention takes place in Chicago, Illinois every December during the winter holiday season.

This is it... this is the speech... the speech that every Muslim needs to hear. I definitely needed to hear this. It is so refreshing to hear the many different examples of how to be a woman right here in our own Deen. For me, it really makes me rethink the cultural nonsense that surrounds the modern Muslim woman. Thank you!
