I can only imagine if I went to the big leagues. It might have done worse to my mental health. Peep the two-way rookie who couldn't get out of the G-League. Peep the rising star who can't seem to shake 5 straight years of injuries. Peep the career ending injury at ANY stage. Peep the perennial sixth-man who was supposed to be a rising star. Peep the vet's minimum guy whether they were once a superstar or not. Is the Big 3 even viable? who tf knows I agree with you - being paid to pursue a passion in any form is sweet as hell. I definitely take a vet's min career if it means I can say I played in the NBA or not had to worry about corporate grind for a decade or so, leave that money in the form of even an apartment or house for my kids.
