I 1st started Kenpo in the 80's, my teacher was one of Parker's students from the 70s and kept in touch until Parker's passing. They would go over the angles and Kenpo philosophy. I love how Parker went about trying to revolutionize MA to a more efficient and well round style. I'm not sure why it just never took off. I don't know if it's because of lack of standards, too many splinter offshoots? From all that I saw with competition in the 2 schools that I knew of, they hit hard and were fast. Only going off from what I saw, it was good.

Thank you for the informative video, Mr. Dan. Hopefully, there will be more crosstraining between Kenpo Karate and Jeet Kune Do in the future. Both style stress the importance of continuous improvement and adaption to current times.
