Had my reactive arthritis 2 days post appendectomy. Hit all my joints. Mostly upper extremities. No prior hx of anything. Was put on prednisone, ketoralac and panto. Currently 3 weeks from incident. Walking moving. Seeing rheumatologist tomorrow. Thanks for the video!
My reactive arthritis occurred after my sister infected me with her own respiratory infection. Although, I had no cough, fever, runny nose, it hit me back in the spine. I have issues on 2 disks O3-O4 and O4-O5. At first, I had loss of appetite leading to malnutrition and me losing weight. My hematocrit dropped and the inflammation grew. I lost ability to walk since it affected both of my legs. I could walk but not steadily, balance issues. Eventually, I got medication by December first, during October and November only exercise and physiotherapy. I wasn't sure I was sick and the pace wasn't rapid. My left foot ankle also got swollen on the 30th of November. I've had Naprosyn for the first 21 days of December and now I am on Medrol. I hope I recover fully one day. I also have to fix my dropped hematocrit.
There has been progress; rheumatologist today changed the medication. Apart from Medrol which I shall still take for the next 3 weeks, I will also from tomorrow begin weekly injections of methotrexate for 3 months, at least. It's turning to either psoriatic arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis, which was his verdict today. And I feel like shit.
@@faisalgorm1965 No. Till the end of March, I will be on methotrexate weekly injections and 4mg Medrol. By middle of March, the rheumatologist is going to put me on the even stronger medication than methotrexate, biological something; that's what he said.
@@yousiftarek3334 On Remicade, symptoms and pain have gone away. To be fair, the negative effects of the drug are more those that mess me up nowadays. Still, according to the doctor, I'll be on it until June.
If anyone has any further useful links please can you put them in the comments. I seem to be getting a flair up every year now and I cant walk for some time because of it.

Thank you for posting this video! After 3 rounds of antibiotics and 2 of steroids. Here i am. The bacteria were resistent to the antibiotics, and didnt work and the prednisone worked after the first day, but all symptoms returned when the prednisone was completed. Not sure why no one took a blood test to analyze the bacteria. But walking is tricky and my finger swelled up 2x the size. It is attacking all the joints
There are many videos on arthritis type inflammation from infection but never say what infection types are the cause or what type antibiotics are used. Otherwise well presented video.
Kinda no, but antibiotic will weaken it so your body can get rid of it. But then its very important you dont eat any karbs what so ever. strict clean diet.
