In today's vlog, we're sharing the next day in our NC500 Scotland road trip series!
In this UK travel vlog filmed during our time traversing Great Britain, we explored some of the gorgeous outdoor sites around the Caithness region of Scotland near Wick.
    What a stunning landscape!!!
We saw the Neolithic-era Ragnog Broch and Achavanich Stone Circle while traipsing through the rain and mud. Then, we made our way to the Grey Cairns of Camster to scope out the ancient burial mounds and meet an adorable flock of sheep.
Plus, our final stop was the breathtaking seaside castle ruin of Castle Sinclair Girnigoe near the Noss Head lighthouse!
Hope you enjoy tagging along on our adventures in this video!
    Cheers, and happy travels!

My husband and I went to Scotland in 2011. We went from Glasgow westward stopping to see my ancestral castle near Inverness. We headed north spending a couple days on Isle of Skye. We ended up in Edinburgh, but we loved the highlands and could have spent all of our time there. We stayed in B&Bs. Feel if we were younger we could of done more hiking. Enjoy your time😊

Hey Guys... glad you enjoyed it here (I live in, and love Caithness ... you pronounce it wrong, think Cape... but with the 'TH" being as English language depicts... and Ness.... like loch Ness).
Come again, but with better foot wear 😁😁. Great Blog, you went to see much more than most do when visiting, and you gave myself and my wife some ideas too. We're not originally from here, but we love it in Caithness. Not everyone makes it here, it's much more about being part of it, than part of the wide media driven world.
Both my wife, Jen, and I have travelled extensively, and spent time with the locals and in strange off the beaten path places. So we applaud you both. Gonna subscribe, and enjoy your travels with you. If you come back, let me know... there's way way way more to see... and the islands are a must for anyone reading this.

So glad you enjoyed watching the video!! Yes, we ABSOLUTELY want to make it back to Caithness on another trip. This time we'll pronounce it correctly, too, haha! What have been some of your favorite off-the-beaten-path places around Caithness that you'd recommend we check out? 😀

Great Content ! You guys really explored Scotland. We didn't do Wick and Caithness. It's trip we will take with our cousin probably in late summer or early fall. How was the driving at that time of the year? Was it November ? Hope you guys are doing ok. Sending you much love and affection from Richmond, Va. 😍 Harriet, Jim and Yuki

Thanks guys!!! Thanks as always for watching! Yes, it was November and it was hard to drive that time of the year just because we were under SUCH a time crunch with wanting to only be on the roads during the daylight (since there are no street lights and plenty of wild animals). Hope you guys are doing well, too!

@@mr.meanstotravel no problem it is funny how people get some words right that you think they would have problems with yet others for example Sinclair they get wrong for the local pronunciation. Edinburgh is one that a lot of Americans get wrong but I sometimes think they get confused as even locals pronounce it differently depending on which part of Edinburgh they come from!
